Anna university- A glimpse into the college life

Likes

The campus is a very good campus and good exposure

Dislikes

The placements for Masters degree are low compared to UG

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent enough for masters degree but extraordinary for undergraduate degrees. The companies are pretty decent and because now it is a recession time, it is a bit dull. They also offer internships on campus.

Likes

class room, college enviroments, library,
play ground (football hockey batminton etc)
friends, proper student associations and art society

Dislikes

some faculty with strict mentality and mess menu
class room and lab timing are the worst.
location of hostel is too bad..that is distance between hostel and class room is high

Placement Experience:

from 4th year that is 10th sem the students become eligible for compus placements catepillar, four kites, and companies form iit incubations etc. highest package is 24lpa and lowest package is 7lpa. around 70pecent student is getting placed

Likes

The college environment is really good and its cool here
The events and workshop the university conduct and they give free t shirts for that
I really love the library which is huge and have ac reading halls

Dislikes

The hostel intime is something which cannot be maintained all the time
Less number of EVs around the college campus
Number of non veg canteen are few over here

Placement Experience:

usually for our course placements are common with CUIC and all the students from be, b tech and MS are allowed to sit for the interview process for all the companies. the highest package is around 35lac per annum. and lowest around 9lac per annum. around 80% of the students get plcaed here and others also have plan for higher studies. I have the same passion

Most of our college students got placed in the campus interviews. From the 6 and 7 semesters, the students can eligible for campus placements. Most of the MNCs like Infosys, Accenture, TCS and so many companies visit our campus.

One of the top universities in India.Placements are really good.You will have exposure to all kinds of extra curricular activities.There are various clubs within the college where you can register based on your interest.It's cultural events are conducted by the students.More over the fees charges is so less.

Anna University Official Counselling which would be conducted every year by Anna University for PG Integrated course other than normal Tamil Nadu Engineering Application. Many will apply for this and will be called for selection process
