Government Engineering College Ajmer Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Their are some companies but not more at my time core companies visited DENSO, Haryana take 3 people from our branch and Genus infrastructure good company take 1 girl and BOSCH noone selected Other than that crackED agency and some sales company like planetSpark, SmartED etc.

Studenst become elegibile for collge placements in 7th semester. companies visit the campus in 7th sem usually .Not so many campnies visit this college .This Year the campanies visited were denso,genus power,kvon tech.etc infosys for girls. the perecntage of students usualy placed in cs are approx are 90% but relying on off campus placemets. my plans are too for an off campus opporunity.

The students are eligible for campus placements from Seven semester some of the companies that vi Visited my college were TCS denzio academ The? Highest package was around twelve lakhs and the Average package Do lack

The college placement is very poor.The average package is 3 to 4 lpa. Very few companies come to visiting the college and very few students got placed from the college campus.The last year in IT branch only 20 students got placed. After graduation I am preparing for gate and want to complete mtech form nit aur iit

from 5th semester one is elligible for campus placement. companies- Infosys, TCS, Bank of Baroda , Vedanta etc were there for the placements. highest average package that time was 3lac. average placement was around 50 percent.
