Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to study computer science for tech job. The course I am studying covers all the subjects required in placements. They include Data structures and algorithms, object oriented programming in cpp, software engineering, linux, java, python, Adv Engineering Maths, Discrete Maths, DBMS, Theory of Computation, System Design, COA etc.
Placement Experience
Placements are less. As far as my seniors tell, there are less placements from on campus. Off campus it depends on student's capabilities. Eligible mostly in 4th year. There are immense ipportunities after BTech Cse. Off campus is a good option. Some seniors have cleared Gate with good ranks. Highest is around 15 lac which went only once. Lowest I dont know. I am not aware of percentage of students placed. As this data is not available to us.
Fees and Financial Aid
I guess it is 10000 hike every year. I had 80000. Junior batch has 100000. There is a scheme called Tuition Fee Waiver scheme, in which few people who got highest marks in Jee Mains, are charges less fees. I am one of them so My 4 year fees is around 68000 as compared to everyone with around 300000. No mo nothing like campus employment available.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are good. Smartboards are there. Labs have high quality computers. Cultural things are very less. Clubs are very less. Good workshops are cinducted frequently. Sports facilities are not so good. Extracurricular are less. There is a cybersecurity club I remember, one cultural club. But activities occur less frequently here.
Admission
The criteria is Jee Mains or Boards. Jee is given more preferance though. Cutoff is not so high, some friends of mine got CSE at 70 percentile also, but after internal sliding and all. So you can give Jee Mains exam. After Jee Advance exam every year, forms role out for Rajasthan Engineering Application process REAP. This is just counselling process, no exam. No fees for the process, as far as I remember. If it is there, it would be minimal, like 250. You have to fill choices according to last year's cutoff. And so you can get in here. Since this REAP is government process, all reservations are enjoyed by people. No improvement, it is good. But yes it can be little faster.
Faculty
Teachers are highly approachable. Like we all have their phone numbers. We can go anytime in their cabins. Most of the teachers are Phd, many of them are MTech from good colleges. Most of the teachers teach well. About ratio, it is around 50 is to 1. This ratio is not so relevant in our college, as teacbers are supportive. Most teachers are hardworking must say. But some are very strict for their assignments and exams.
