Course Curriculum Overview
At the time of my Btech Entrance, techonology engineering was on peak , everyone around me was going for IT and Computers , so I also thought of going for engineering in IT. Well, the engineering course had theoritical knowledge and some basic practical knowledge. But when we start for real working ,one needs to go for training.
Internships Opportunities
GOVERNMENT Agencies were there for theinternship and training. The college provided with refrence letters to join the government office and companies for internship. For example the eletctrical brnach can go to state eletrical department and mechanical to railways through college.
Placement Experience
from 5th semester one is elligible for campus placement. companies- Infosys, TCS, Bank of Baroda , Vedanta etc were there for the placements. highest average package that time was 3lac. average placement was around 50 percent.
Fees and Financial Aid
Most of the seats are government aided and the fee structure is very less. Every branch has 50 percent government aided seats and others are self financed one. but for computers and IT all seats were self financed. scholorship were there for SC/ST students.
Campus Life
The overall college life was good. We had good library. Labs were good with all required instruments. Soprts facilities and annual sports events were held. We had annual fest named Spandhan. We also had NCC there.
Hostel Facilities
At my time we moved to new campus so we didnot had campus hostel building but now it has on campus facility. there are multiple rental accomodation, available outside the campus also. locality to rent is around the campus, in Narela in Ajmer.
Admission
For eligibility one need to either qualify RPET or AIEEE to take admission there. The exam is conducted by government agency. Both caste based and Ews reservation are available. Exam has good standard. Admission process is good and transparent.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was around 20 to 1. As it was government college faculties were highly qualified , they minimum had Mtech degrees. Teaching approach was good and they were highly approachable. We had class mentors and in 3rd and final year I was the mentor , so I was the point of contact for my fellow students to teachers. We had weekly meetings also.
