The course I took was , BA JOEN ( journalism and additional English) . The teacher methods very really simple and easy to understand but with only few subjects but few were really hard to understand. The portions were completed on time and we were given enough time to prepare for exam
It's good. I like it. I like the faculty as well. After all, in a college, we must equally put in our efforts too no matter how the faculty is. I think we should also have a lot of exposure towards the professions that the course would lead us to so as to have an experiential learning. As I'm a part of the humanities department, I think our professions must involve experience so that it will help us better.
This course provides knowledge on all the three major subjects namely Journalism, Psychology and English Literature. The faculties try to make the classes interesting by PPTs and interactive sessions. Assignments and other tasks are provided in order to increase academic exposure.
Pauline ma'am was good. Supporting various organizations or humanitarian causes throughout the year. Actively participating in a committee to improve the school climate and physical environment. Visiting and participating in activities in retirement homes. Becoming involved in the student radio station or the student council.
The course syllabus is well organised And updated and focuses on the wholesome development of the Students. This college has great and capable set of faculty. We get alot of industrial experiences too there are alot of industrial visits too.
The course I chose was of my interst and college is providing us a deeper knowledge about the subjects I chose. The curricular is also quite satisfactory. The faculties are very cooperative in all terms they guide us in all the fields both as a student and as Well as an individual.
There are some very good teachers. Some are very inexperienced and biased. More importance was given to performance and exam rather than the quality of learning. Humanity's department had a good set of teachers who are friendly and approachable.
Though the course is divided in its structure, it provides a balanced and beautiful exposure to all three subjects. However, it lacks in providing students a high level of knowledge in each subject individually. The Psychology department of KJC is probably the greatest in Bangalore. Fr. Emmanuel, Ms. Amani and Mr. Mubarak are a few amazing teachers among them. Mrs. Susan Sanny, from the department of English, is one of the greatest of teachers and linguistic scholars I've seen in the field of English Literature.
