A brief about PUMBA

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell within the college does a great job to get the companies on the campus. Companies like PWC, CRISIL, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Mercedes Benz India, BAJAJ Finserv, Entytle, BrowserStack, TATA Capital, e-Zest Solutions, TCS, INFOSYS, etc also visits the campus. Recently PUMBA Achieved a 100% placement too. BrowserStack offered the highest salary of approx 17 LPA.I have been placed as a Product Manager at ICICI Bank through Campus Placement and I plan to continue with this job.

Placement Experience:

The placement process starts during the 4th trimester itself and continues till the end of the 6th trimester i.e. till May. Many reputed companies visit during the placement process. Also, most of the companies are from Pune itself, along with the Pan India location. One of the senior from our previous batch got the highest package of around 16 LPA and the average was around 7.2 LPA. Currently, due to pandemic, the placements have been affected, compared to other colleges it is quite good and is still hoping to have great numbers by the end of May.

Placement Experience:

The student is provided with various summer internship which is to be applied in the third trimester. Every student should complete their internship of a minimum of 50 days. The students can participate in the final placement during the 2nd trimesters and Pumba provides one of the best placements. Last year in 2019 the highest package offered was 19 Lakhs and the average was 7-8 lakhs. Almost 80 percent of the batch gets placed during the last year and eventually, all of them get a job after graduation. Companies like Axis, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra, Bank of Scotland Citi Bank, IDB, Union Bank, Vijaya Bank, ACC Ltd., Cummins India, Engineers India Ltd, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. PUMBA has shown a consistent 100% placement track record in previous years, and even in the COVID situation, many companies are coming on campus for placements. big brands like ICICI, HDFC, MRF, Colgate Palmolive etc have recruited from PUMBA this year. Average package ranges from 6.5 to 7 LPA approx. Try to be active in the college academics and activities and intercollege competitions on dare 2 compete, to make your resume strong. As long as you have good communication, good academic scores(60% throughout ) and right Attitude, getting placed is a no big deal at PUMBA.

Department of Management Science (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University offered decent placements to its students according to its 2021 placements. The institute maintained its achievements in terms of placement offers, CTC packages & job roles offered during its placement drive. During the PUMBA placements 2021, a total of 168 students opted to participate in the placement drive out of which 137 students got placements.
