Asansol Polytechnic Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After examination of 5th-semester students are eligible for placement campus- JSL, JSW, AM&NS, HINDALCO, TSML, GAINWELL, L&T, etc. 20000/- per month. In the metallurgy branch, about 95% of students are placed in the company.

After the 5th sem one should be eligible for campus placement. Birla, Tata , zindal as so many. In the metalargical department, there's 100% placement provided. On the other hand there about 20-40% of students are placed through other branches. As I would complete my course diploma in mining engineering, I would go through ppt training for 1 year.

I chose this course because this is the course related to the mining industry and the Asansol Raniganj belt is a coal field belt so mining is the best subject. There are 60 seats for mining and 20 seats for mine surveying maximum in 1st year. The teachers are so good.

This college provides placement for around 90% of the students. From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit our college and take an interview and gave jobs for his company. Tata, Ambuja, L&T, Jiomart, etc company came and take placement. The average package they offered is 200000.

After 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Manu reputed and well-established companies visit our college for placements. This year the companies taking placements are JINDAL STEEL AND POWER LTD.(JSPL), JAIBALJI GROUP, DANA ANAND INDIA LTD. JINDAL STAINLESS (JSL). JAMURIA SUPER SMELTERS, SHYAM SEL. And some companies took apprentice like BAJAJ AUTOMOBILES, TATA METALLIKS, etc. The highest packages offered by the companies are 16k-18k per month and the average salary is 12k-13k. It's a Govt. College so all students don't get placed, to be honest, students have to score above 75% in every semester exams and also have to score well in the placement assessments. However, more than 70-75% of students get placed every year.
