Dislikes

Jesuit fathers are very progressive- but some of them are very problematic with gender insensitivity and discrimination
The first thing i dislike about my college is that in undergraduate programs many of the departments offer only for boys.
The second thing i dislike about my college is that we have classes on every saturdays.

Excellence of Loyola

Likes

Good atmosphere very good teachers and mentors and the teachers so friendly to the students good teaching..
Bathroom and hostel facility is so good for long distance students
Very very happy to joined in the college

Dislikes

Nothing to dislike there it's overall a beautiful college and a favorite among students
There is some disparity but it is not visible to everyone some students will be comfortable some students will be disadvantaged that is the disparity that is there in other words
Loyola College is a beautiful college ranked eighth in Chennai and everyone's favorite to go there

Placement Experience:

If the students studying there do well and score high marks, they get jobs through the college itself and placements are made during their studies and they are placed in the best universities in Chennai.College helps to get job in big companies.. and we see good scorers get big positions in big companies through college.

All you need to know about Loyola college Chennai

Likes

The college overall is good and the campus too is very refreshing
As compared to other top colleges, I think Loyola is one of the best option
The midium of language is English and not Tamil

Dislikes

It becomes difficult to communicate sometimes as most of them are jot fluent in English
The weather becomes very hot and humid and it is hard
The management's of the college can do better to make the students more involved

Placement Experience:

Well there are several other companies who recruit students and interns from our college because the education quality is good in our college and they have the trust in the college. Well Im doing this for the money and hoping i get it

What i love the most about Loyola college is that it contains the best campus. It includes best facilities.It includes many extra curricular activities.It possess all the qualities of a ideal college.
Live on campuses are the best thing in the college,our college has the one and only famous ovations culturals which happens every ones in a year it is a most happening culture in chennai r
It has the best course curriculum and faculity member. I improved a my technical skills and acknowledge a lot in research field. It has the best carrier oppurtunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Loyola College is an arts and science college. At the undergraduate level and diploma level, the college offers specific courses and requirements and foundational courses, advanced course and intermediate courses. The teaching of the English language is basically divided into three sections for easy understanding. The curriculum very well for real-world applications. There are two internal exams in between the semesters and one-semester exam after the semester. The timing for the students are very easy to cope up.

traffic and pollution is there because the college is situated in the centre of chennai.

Placement Experience:

From the last year and in the second last semster it self the student becomes eligible for the campus placements. The companies often visits the college for interviews. The highest package came was 10 lakhs and the lowest came was 2.4 lakhs The companies came was strive,accenture etc. The students getting placed is 100%.

In our College Library is there. It will be very helpful for studying. It's maintenance is superb.
It will be very clean and superb atmosphere.
Faculties teaching is also worthy. It's good.

Dislikes

I think college fees is high. They can reduce some fee.

Placement Experience:

In our College placement is there in final year. Some seniors final year students talk about placement to my class. They told prepare placement in the starting of final year. I don't know about which companies are there.

Why Loyola?

Likes

The College campus and atmosphere is too warm that you will get a peace of mind no matter what. The trees and the water facilities in the college makes even your summer the best.
The staffs are very friendly and they will took extra care if you are a hosteller. They will not only teach the subject but the world to you.
There wil be so many programmes and events to exlore your talents and exhibit your skills.

Dislikes

There is no such things that I dislike in the college except it will be working almost all the saturdays
There is no other things that I don't like in the college
There is no other dislikes about the college

Placement Experience:

After the first year of postgraduation, we have to do internships as a part of the syllabus. After that, we can continue the internships part-time. Every year the placement cell gives training and then those who opt to participate in placements can attend the company interviews and can get placed.

Students with study gaps are also eligible to apply for admission at Loyola College. However, they will asked to submit an affidavit mentioning a valid reason for the study gap.
