Loyola Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements in our college is quite good. The average pack is 500000. Companies like TCS, GOLDMANSACHS, DELOITE, appear for the revruitment at the third year. The coaching for placement selection is also appreciable.

According to the research For Economics, Loyola is one of the best college. By giving projets, research papers, conducting presentations, expo etc... The teaching staffs are so kind and they can easily make the student understand the topic.

Placements are BEST IN Loyola college. If you're looking for decent placements, Loyola. Ollege is the college to go itoo. Placements are the only reason I joined this college. Helps with a good career. Placement opportunities are amazing I know people who got upto 50 lakhs in top companies and avg placements for avg students can go upto 4 5 lakhs pa. HCL, Infosys, etc are some companies that are known to come to Loyola college to look for their top students. They provide students will good placement opportunities especially if you're an above average student. Most of the students get placed in Loyola. About 80% of them go out with decent jobs after college. My plans after degree are getting decent placements and working for a while then going to opt for masters in some prestigious institution outside or inside India. Hoping for the best. But mostly opting to get placed outside my city. Percentage of students getting the placement is high but if you are looking to pursue a higher education in the course, then there is no scope for you in the placements department because if you get placed by a complany in loyola college, then they wont let you leave until you sign up a document stating that you will work with the company for the next 2-3 years. And then you wil lbe stuck working for a long time wich is not what i want to do. I dont know about others but i want to work for atleast 1 year as an intern part time in some good company to get my work experience and then do my further studies in some place outside of india hopefully from some reputed university. I want to get my degree along with one or 2 internships and active participation in projecst. To be fair, If you ARE GENUINELY INTERESTED IN DOING SOMETHING FOR THE COLLEGE, THE FACULTY WIL LASSIGN PRACTICAL PROJECTS TO YOU IF YOU APPROACH THEM IN A GOOD WAY. I will give them that, some faculty are actually friendly and are willing to see you flourish. IF YOU ASK FOR HELP, YOU WILL BE HELPED By the FACULTY

3 (2sem)year the company were enter the college for placement .the company like tata vipro the average amount of starting package is 40000and highest is like the skill of the person which like 100000.

I am in 5th sem , currently the companies visting our campus placement I have seen about 20 companies arrived with high packages 9 Lpa and low of 3 lpa . Like as far I seen companies like TCS , Zomato, pickyourtrail, etc

From the 5 th semester the students are eligible to opt for campus interview , if we are interested we can register, so far many companies came with 3lpa ,i have attended some aptitude test for some company

I love about chemicals so I chooses this course The subject chemistry plays an vital role over the world so there is many job opportunities are there for chemist so I select this so teaching method are comparatively good than other colleges

The course is an day to day updating course which is tough to learn but if we focus on one subject and master it we can able to make a good job in the future and courses are easy to study not a big problem.

like we got many companies for the placement with some good packages but i am not seriously looking for the placement so i just attented the placement class just to learn how the placement process works..

The course is a great and a valuable course, economics is valued all over the world. It can build a person's life, the course offers you with various opportunities and experiences. The only problem is the syllabus and the lack of maths based curriculum in the course. The faculties also are not specialised in maths, meaning one has to self study for his extra knowledge so that he can keep up to the level of other colleges.
