Yes social life is good to suppose other colleges conduct any workshop and symposium like other events they give full freedom to students they allowed students and develop our to the outside world

Positive of veltech : Focussed on academics,placement is very good,experienced faculties Negatives: mobile phones not allowed, Saturday working days,not much support for support and extra curricular.Dress code is very strict

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college is affiliated to Anna University curriculum,speaking of which the syllabus is not satisfactory in terms of industry.altough any other college around me except tier 1 college follows the same curriculum,so the curriculum doesn't make a great difference in terms of placement

Remarks:

The management at veltech is very good.Each and every department at veltech works together.If there is any issue for students it will be rectified very soon.In terms of academics veltech follows CBCS system and it is very useful for students.Another best part in veltech is providing scholarship to merit students.

Remarks:

The college is located deep inside the town. The common bus fare is very high. It takes upto 50? for one day from railway station to college. The college bus fare is also high. They ask to pay 15000? for 7km travel.

The positive Mark about the college is that the college is very strict and the teachers with good experience and knowledge and with well equipped labs but the negative remark is that few teachers are not good it you select the teachers you want while selecting courses

There are some admission office we go and get the the hole information and nice college for middle class they also offering the scholarship according to the intermediate percentage and better hostel and food also excellent

Few things needed to be changed for placement cell and placement training as placement training mainly happens after completing 3rd year it should be started after 1st year and training for communication should also needed to provide for students.

A few of my friends graduated from VTU and here are a few tips for you. The university was growing then while he was studying and was struggling to set up its name.

Following points is brief insight into VTU:

Few professors in VTU are really good in terms of delivering knowledge. A group of scientists is hired primarily for scientific research. They are doing quite good work in terms of quality scientific papers.
The university, in general, has all the facilities in terms of academics as well as extra-curricular. It has developed well-equipped labs, trained technicians, workshops, and design labs (supported by Dassault System France, NI, etc).
A newly developed open theatre is available for students to enjoy cultural functions.
VTU has 5 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The rooms are equipped with AC and well-maintained.
It has its postal service, medical service, confectionery stores, bus service, etc needed for a good campus.

VTU is in no way better than IIT Delhi or IIT Madras if compared, however, the environment is great.
