They taught very great and they are very friendly with the students.
Yes social life is good to suppose other colleges conduct any workshop and symposium like other events they give full freedom to students they allowed students and develop our to the outside world
The faculty are good to teach and they treat us like a friend.

University with opportunities

Likes

I like that when girls want to go outing they have to convince their parents and have to get mentor sign and also Dean sign in the letter.
Even boys and girls both have mentor in the collage. Only for 20 members a mentor alloted for each one.
The management have give the every basic need for the students in college

Dislikes

Rules which are applied in hostel have to change a little bit.
The road facilities are some bad at the collage sarounding area's
Their is nothing that to dislike our college

Placement Experience:

1* Third year 2 nd semester the students are eligible for the students. 2* TCS, Amazon, Infosys,and other companies 3* The students gets minimum package is 3.5 lacks per annum and highest is 24 lacks per annum it is the last thing I remember. 4* 50 to 60 % students were placed every year. 5* I was planning to do MS in abroad.

Me and My College Life

Likes

The college campus is so much big and it has a wonderful environment
All the facilities will be there there is big library with lot of books and neat labs.
This college has so much placement so many students will get placed

Dislikes

There is no proper extra curriculum in the college
Only limited staffs are available in each department
The fee structure is high amd and we should pay on current time

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we will get the placement. There should be nil arrears to max 3 arrears. They is soo much of companies came for placement. I got some companies but i did get anything. They will not give expected package. Starting they wil give only 4lpa.

The curriculum followed here is a usual one. People expecting an extraordinary content for learning are not suggested to join here. The curriculum followed here is a old pattern and more updated requirement are there in markets that is not fulfilled by this curriculum Frequently they conduct examinations and those exams are not that difficult

Likes

The peace full experience in academic and the updating the current affairs in the industry
The culture or feast will happen will be very entertaining
The sport day competition will be enthusiastic in a year

Dislikes

The timing of college..It will start in 8.15am and end in 3.30am
There will not be enough holidays and study leave

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is excellent.And the training from the placement is start in the 2years itself.The percentage for placement is 70% in academic. The early training is very helpful to provide the industry need skilled people

An overview of my college

Likes

The college takes effective steps in improving students Knowledge which is very likable
I like the faculty's methods of teaching which is both theoretical and practical
Placement percentage is good and I really like the course I'm pursuing

Dislikes

One thing I dislike about the college is that we have dress code which is followed strictly in the college
Infrastructure of the college needs to be improved
Campus Life has some difficulties because of some strictly followed rules and regulations

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the fifth semester. Diverse companies visits the college, offers roles in IT, finance, and more. Highest package: 7Lpa, average package: 5lpa. 90% students secures placements. After my degree, aiming for a role in IT field or to be in my core field.

Likes

Placement interview will be good enough.
Staff are very friendly and teaching too good.
There are some sort of things to follow for exam.

There like very strict and cant to inside the college.

I have chosen electronics and communication because I was so much of it I had an interest in that and finally I went through with some process and I just said was a very successful course in that period when I was joining in that and about the student and faculty ratio it was good enough because in a class they have only for 45 members out of 20 members of faculty

The way of teaching by the teachers in the class
the extracurricular activities are so good
the placements are given by the college is so fine and maximum people will get job

The NIRF ranking is low but it has nice facilities

The companies visited for the interview are Wipro TCS Valist Staples and many more core companies The highest package is 78lpa and the lowest package is 3.5lpa The students who have above 6.5 cgp will recruit easily

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements if they were not having backlogs of more than 2. All the main MNCs have visited the campus and many students were got placed on site. the highest package is 900000 and avg we can get is around 3-5 LPA.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

A few of my friends graduated from VTU and here are a few tips for you. The university was growing then while he was studying and was struggling to set up its name.

Following points is brief insight into VTU:

Few professors in VTU are really good in terms of delivering knowledge. A group of scientists is hired primarily for scientific research. They are doing quite good work in terms of quality scientific papers.
The university, in general, has all the facilities in terms of academics as well as extra-curricular. It has developed well-equipped labs, trained technicians, workshops, and design labs (supported by Dassault System France, NI, etc).
A newly developed open theatre is available for students to enjoy cultural functions.
VTU has 5 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The rooms are equipped with AC and well-maintained.
It has its postal service, medical service, confectionery stores, bus service, etc needed for a good campus.

VTU is in no way better than IIT Delhi or IIT Madras if compared, however, the environment is great.
