They taught very great and they are very friendly with the students.
Yes social life is good to suppose other colleges conduct any workshop and symposium like other events they give full freedom to students they allowed students and develop our to the outside world
The faculty are good to teach and they treat us like a friend.

The college infrastructure is quite bad and not looking good
Very bad infrastructure.Classroom benches are not good

All about vel Tech high tech

Likes

The staffs and purity of the course outcome
A pretty lovely engagement with my class and campus
Faculty are kinda poor experienced but anyhow they are capable to teach

Dislikes

Poor placement and training coaching but best tie up with industries
Curriculum wise there are some irrelevant in sem 1 and 2
Poor infrastructure where soil erosion is very much seen in this campus

Waiting for the curriculum in terms of revelance made me to choose this course because it has the enhanced skills and programs about AI and specialised way to treat data set and also having awakening courses of learning ability in data science machine learning Deep learning etc

Into The Life of Vel Tech

Likes

The convention hall of our college must renovated
Canteen and food stall needs an hygienic update
Infrastructure is maintained well and perfectly maintained

Dislikes

The backyard of the college containing e waste
Transport facility is poor due to the old vehicles
Animals intrude inside the college campus

Placement Experience:

Students of our college are eligible for campus placement from the semester of 5 and 6. Most of the time the companies are Capgemini, MPhasis, mu Sigma, Accenture,valist,staples etc. Highest package is 78 LPA for a student in Cse dept. Average percentage of 80% are getting placed in our college. I am planning for move to abroad after getting degree

Likes

They need to improve their infrastructure and staffs
The quality of benches in the classroom was in good condition
The entire campus is surrounded by trees and flowers

Dislikes

The staffs are not teaching well and often took leave to class
They didn't conducted cultural events for 2,3,4th year students
The canteen is not hygienic in the campus

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester we are eligible for placement according to management.There are several companies like TCS ,Zoho, Infosys,etc..like visiting for placements.the 27 lakhs was offered by ycs company.They must be have atleast 80 percentage.my plan is to get placed in highest pakage companies

The placements are average . Not too good but there are average percentage of placements
Hostel is worth for money.Hostel foods are not too bad.Maintanance is also good
Special classes are available after normal classes . Interested stidents can approach faculties and learn

Dislikes

Very bad infrastructure.Classroom benches are not good
Student teacger communication is not good.they are very strict
Girls and boys are not allowed to have conversation.They are prohibited to sit together

Students become eligible for placement at 3rd year of college.companies like zoho , infosys visit here but they take very minimum amount of students...20 percentage of students are getting placements currenlty this year..i have plan of doing own business after collge.. because it is very tough to get placement here

My college my opinion

Likes

The first thing I liked was the affordable fees structure that most middle class can pay
The variable scholarships that are referred by the college even to BC , MBC students based on their financial background
The placement planning and training here is good begin from the first year they start placement training along with regular classes that will make us understand even better

Dislikes

The infrastructure is what I felt a lot to improve. The infra is not so good compared to other colleges. It can be better by maintaining properly around
It's a bit hectic here that we can't get any leaves around all the semesters. After finishing each semester there will be 1week leave or sometimes no leave at all
The fests conducted can be made better that its the only thing where common students enjoy around. Can be more interactive and fun

I chose ECE course at it would master the electronics and computer science field and would provide job opportunities more ahead. Also it's a very developing stream at present. But what I experienced here is that the curriculum is not updated on recent trends. It will be better if they include the recent inventions and update their labs

VTHT A place for learning at affordable fees in and around chennai with reasonable facilities to fees

Placement Experience:

For biotechnology department the on campus placements are too low . May be 3 - 4 core companies visit the campus per year. But they also provide eligibility for some of the IT companies. Interested may attend them. You will get more opportunities outside on the completion of degree. In pharma industries QC dept,medical coding jobs....

Flexible time for students in college to enjoy
More bakery and hotels near the college for tha enjoyment of students

Raining time there will water stagnant so I hate that but they will clear it within a half day

The students are trained from the core like they are trained from tha first year by keeping placement classes like coding skills, logical class, quantz class. More companies visited like Amazon, Zoho, big MNC companies they have tied up, my plan is to get a good job in great MNC company

Teaching is too good and the staff are very friendly
Surroundings are very calm and peaceful its very nice thing
Canteen food is nice and canteen workers are friendly

Dislikes

Some time canteen is to bad because of some bad smell
If it rainy season means the college is too messy
Some staff are thought they are the best

Exam timing is base on marks calculator 100 marks means 3hrs exam 50 marks means 1½hrs exam and also they have mini project it's helps for placements for every year we have to do one project and overall the college is best

In this college they will train you better for your personal as well as professional development
The Culturals here are good compared to other colleges
Campus amenities and Facilities will be good and are developing them

Dislikes

There is nothing to be disliked here but still if there is some , it'll about it's road facilities

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for attending campus interviews when they reach 5th Semester. Companies such as HCL , Cognizant , Mu Sigma , Accenture , Staples and many other companies come here for recruitment. The highest Package here is 100,000 dollars which is roughly about 80,00,000 today . And average package ranges about 4,00,000.

Good Infrastructure facility & has all the equipments for practical education
Excellent Placement opportunities, they have tie up with many MNCs
Well Disciplined approach by all the coaching & non coaching staffs

Dislikes

Public transportation facility is too low
The area in which the college located is very remote
They call the parents for every complaints rather than speaking to the students directly

Placement Experience:

They provide excellent placement opportunities, there are so many MNC companies which came for placements when i studied and they give proper training before the placement program starts, they have provided equal opportunities for all the students studied there. After the course completion those companies which came for placement will recruit the student within 3 to 6 months.

A few of my friends graduated from VTU and here are a few tips for you. The university was growing then while he was studying and was struggling to set up its name.

Following points is brief insight into VTU:

Few professors in VTU are really good in terms of delivering knowledge. A group of scientists is hired primarily for scientific research. They are doing quite good work in terms of quality scientific papers.
The university, in general, has all the facilities in terms of academics as well as extra-curricular. It has developed well-equipped labs, trained technicians, workshops, and design labs (supported by Dassault System France, NI, etc).
A newly developed open theatre is available for students to enjoy cultural functions.
VTU has 5 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The rooms are equipped with AC and well-maintained.
It has its postal service, medical service, confectionery stores, bus service, etc needed for a good campus.

VTU is in no way better than IIT Delhi or IIT Madras if compared, however, the environment is great.
