They taught very great and they are very friendly with the students.
Yes social life is good to suppose other colleges conduct any workshop and symposium like other events they give full freedom to students they allowed students and develop our to the outside world

Best for mechanical and biotech students

Remarks:

Only negative is they will concentrate more on studies and placements than extracurriculars. Positive is they will give more freedom after 3rd year,we can also prepare free ku for exams and also for extracurricular activities.

Remarks:

Positive Good infrastructure and facilities are available. Good placement and job opportunities are provided. Negative: No importance give to sports or extracurricular activities. Not many experienced professors are available.

CHEMICAL ENGINEERING IS GOOD

Remarks:

The college atmosphere is very good, more trees the more fresh air. Library and lab facilities are too good. Private canteens like fast food are the negative things in my college the pay is high and the food is not as expected and good.

Remarks:

there is no good remarks to be said even after spent four years of my lifetime.i felt like i was in a jail and i was locked up.the management decision are so shitty that they wont care for pratical knowledge. they want to increase their gpa and they will tell us to attend the special classes and they will tell us only to study and they will restrict all the other activities.

Entrance Preview:

HSC exam, i got 136 cut off, i choose this college by TNEA. I attend the counselling there i can see a list of colleges,but at there i can see three colleges continuously under name vel tech then i asked my uncle came with he is Chennai.

A few of my friends graduated from VTU and here are a few tips for you. The university was growing then while he was studying and was struggling to set up its name.

Following points is brief insight into VTU:

Few professors in VTU are really good in terms of delivering knowledge. A group of scientists is hired primarily for scientific research. They are doing quite good work in terms of quality scientific papers.
The university, in general, has all the facilities in terms of academics as well as extra-curricular. It has developed well-equipped labs, trained technicians, workshops, and design labs (supported by Dassault System France, NI, etc).
A newly developed open theatre is available for students to enjoy cultural functions.
VTU has 5 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The rooms are equipped with AC and well-maintained.
It has its postal service, medical service, confectionery stores, bus service, etc needed for a good campus.

VTU is in no way better than IIT Delhi or IIT Madras if compared, however, the environment is great.
