Loreto College, Kolkata: An Honest Review

Dislikes

Too strict about attendance. Students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in order to be able to appear for end semester examinations. There are no provisions for accidental and illness related prolonged leaves.

Tuition fees per semester range from 14,000-17,000, varying from course to course. Courses such as Psychology and Geography have fees for practicals too. Scholarships are available as approved by the Government of West Bengal. Placements are provided by companies like TCS.

A Nice Option for Graduation

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Fee Structure: 18330 approx. Per year No opportunity for campus jobs Financial assistance might not be available. Internships is to be done on your own. There will be no support or guidance for that. The college helps in preparing for different competitive exams and also regular mentoring sessions for career counseling and discussion of problems in one on one basis in each semester.

HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE HERE.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fees were about 33000 and we made payments quarterly. However, I am not aware of the details of scholarships or financial assistance available, since I did not avail them. Those who are interested to know more about these can always approach the college office.
