The hostel at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is compulsory for all students and offers comprehensive facilities. Each student is provided with a 2-seater room until the 3rd year, transitioning to a single room in the 4th year for B.Tech students. The hostel features spacious, clean, and well-furnished rooms equipped with essentials such as beds, study tables, chairs, and almirahs. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, with specific accommodations for MBA students.

The hostel fee is included in the semester fee, while the mess fee, which is approximately INR 18,900 per semester, is separate. The mess provides four meals a day, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, although the food quality receives mixed reviews. Additional amenities include 24/7 electricity, water supply, LAN cable, and laundry services at extra cost. The hostels are located about 400 meters from the main campus, ensuring easy access.

Ragging is strictly prohibited, and prompt action is taken against complaints. Overall, the hostel facilities at NIFTEM are considered better than typical government hostels, offering a conducive and hygienic environment for students.
