Vasavi College of Engineering

Likes

Lush green campus ,calm and serene atmosphere
Student friendly faculty , competitive and helping students

Dislikes

Less amenities for sports and small ground
Small campus of 10 acres compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

After 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Around 100+ companies visit my college including top companies like Amazon, and Google. Last year Amazon made 30+ offers for avg package of 32 lakhs CTC. And the highest package was 80 lakhs. Avg package stands at 8 lakh. 90% of students get placed every year. I plan to do majors in cs at top universities.

VCE-The fairytale for engineering

Likes

I liked the college most about it is out of city it is very peaceful.
I liked the way the faculty teaches their subjects.
I liked the college atmosphere and I liked to enjoy and spend time with friends.

Dislikes

The exams are very tough we should prepare well for exams.
The college land is very small there is no proper ground in campus.
I dont like canteen in my college the rates are very high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because there is a good scope to get jobs early and lifestyle could be changed and I listen to my parent's words, especially my mother's. The faculty is good in this college they are very experienced at least they have 25 years of teaching experience. The faculty are done there Ph.D. and M. Tech. They teach by giving ppts and mind-mapping and encourage us and teach good skills.

Review on Vasavi college

Likes

Placements in vasavi are very good, average package is 5 lpa
Faculty members are very good and they are well trained and everyone of them did their masters
I like the games we play at vasavi usually we play cricket and volleyball

Dislikes

Campus is so small and the plantation in the campus is not proper way
Some faculty members do not come to class in time
For outdoor games we didn't have a large ground to play

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty members are very good at topics. They will reach the topics with different examples, most of the faculty members had completed their PHD in their subjects. We have two semesters for one year and the question paper is somewhat difficult to pass

Likes

Teaching is excellent in our college.And teachers are encouraging us in every activity.
Our college is situated outside the city so atmosphere is very good for classes.
Many fests are conducted in our college.They encourage us to participate in events.

Dislikes

Coming to the rules,very strict and we have to clear all subjects to promote next year
Our college playground is small because our college is situated in 13 acres only
Our college conducts exams very strictly and we have to work very hard

I chooses this course due to demand and companies re preferring this students and providing high placements.coming to the faculty teaching is very good and the faculty was very experienced (min 30 years).Exams were very tough and we have to study very hard.

The Vasavi

Likes

The college is full of greenery and the weather is always pleasant also the campus is equipped with good parks and seating.
Not only greenery the clg is equipped with many labs like cc -1, Bee lab and many other almost 30-40 labs in whole campus.
Moreover,the clg faculty is very friendly and helpful our associate lecturers too are PhD holders.

Dislikes

The clg schedule is bit hectic and there are continuous exams.
The number of holidays are limited and ni holiday in Saturday's.
The course has many subjects like 7-8 subjects per semister.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I selected is CSE as I am interested in this stream and the highest placement was also from the same stream since the last 3-4 years, there are only 2 sections for each branch and every student is appointed with two mentors for his whole course.

I liked our college atmosphere because our college is situated outside the city.
Teaching is very good in our college and teachers encourage us in every aspects
our college is situated near historic places like Golconda,taramathi to enjoy our weekend.

Dislikes

In our college Exams are very strict and tough.
college rules are strict we have to clear all exams to promote next year.

I choose CSE due to demand in india and out of the country. And we get good placements. Our college faculty is good and very experienced (min 25 years). PhD for associative professors.m tech for assistant professor. exams were very tough and strict.

Green campus with calm and silent atmosphere
Competetive students and experienced faculty

Dislikes

Less priority for sports and no open gate
Giving over assignments and deadlines with more classes hours

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement after the third year. Reputed companies like Google, Amazon, Adobe, Oracle, and Providence visit the college. Last year Amazon made 20 offers with an average package of 36 lakh. About 90% of students get placed. I would go for further studies after this degree.

I liked the college environment because more trees are there in our college
I liked the college clubs because they have very nice coding culture
I liked the events organised by our college management

Dislikes

I disliked the college will give only one hour in a week for sports and sports equipment also less

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester students become eligible for the placement there are many companies like Valuelabs, cognizant, cisco etc... Visit the campus every year and take nearly 50 students to a dream package 98 per cent of cse are got placed in the campus placement. My plans after getting a degree is pursuing MS in the USA

Vasavi college of engineering

Likes

The environment in the college is very fresh and the campus has so many trees.
The ground is very big and we can play any sports
The methodology of the faculty is very good.

Dislikes

The principal is very strict and does not allow us to bunk class.
There is only one college fest for an year.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th and 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. So many companies all over India visit our college. The highest package is 6000000 lpa Average package is 900000 lpa for CSE 100% placements for CSE.

Vasavi college is one of the top college in our state. After I got admitted to vasavi college through B category I got very much excited to come to the college. Every academic or co-curricular activities goes in systematic way.
Near by college many places are there to visit like golconda, taramathi etc to enjoy in weekends.
In our college we have good atmosphere because college is situated outside the city.

Dislikes

This college is very strict on academics and exams.
We have to pass all the exams to promote to next year.

I choose CSE based on placements and it is a demanding course. And I'm interested in software so I chose this course. In this college, the faculty is very good and experienced (min 30 years). M. Tech for assistant professor and phd for associative professors.

The institute you decide to enroll in isn’t going to determine your growth. It rather depends upon what you choose to do. However, it is suggested that you join the institute based on your subject preference.

Here is a concise outlook of the institute:

The faculty of the institute is extremely proficient and knowledgeable.
Some professors hold Ph.D. degrees and are part of research in different departments.
It has a good library that comes with many books, journals, etc.
There are excellent placement opportunities for CS and IT students. However, it differs according to the market trends. The campus is visited by several core companies.
It also conducts sports, clubs, technical and cultural fests.
The labs are well equipped.

Disadvantages:

Security is very strict, you cannot go freely in and out of the campus.
The campus is small, including the sports grounds.
Hostel facilities are not up to the mark.
The interaction between juniors and seniors is very little.

Thus, make an informed decision. Go through as many reviews as possible before finalizing. As this will shape your career ahead.
