Admissions are based on academic performance and are assessed by the department head. The chemistry course admitted a student in July 2016 based on their marks. The faculty comprises 23 lecturers, all with PhDs, and most are over 30 years old, with three over 40. They are approachable and focus on teaching industry-relevant subjects.
The first-semester fee is Rs 7,000, which remains the same for subsequent semesters, and all payments are made online. Although there are no additional admission charges, economically disadvantaged students may not all qualify for a fee breakdown. The annual fee structure, including lab fees, is 20,000 INR. Scholarships are available, with a yearly amount of 1,500 INR for OBC category students, funded by the Holy Trust. The college collaborates with various companies, including Tata, to facilitate campus interviews and placements, attracting numerous companies from Trichy.
Students must pass all subjects to be eligible for scholarships.
