Bharathidasan University has released the interview schedule for PhD admissions for the February 2025 session. The interview process is set to take place from March 17 to 20, 2025, at the Khajamalai and Palkalaiperur campuses.

BDU PhD Interview Guidelines 2025
PhD interview at Bharathidasan University comprises a total weightage of 30 marks and aims to test the candidates in the following three components:
Subject Knowledge (15 Marks): The candidates are expected to know a minimum of three important subjects from their postgraduate studies.
Research aptitude (10 Marks): Candidates will explain their dissertation, internship, or research experience. They will mention the proposed PhD's research areas and share previous papers that were published.
Communication Skill (5 Marks): Communication skills clearly and concisely implies that responses are structured and to the point.
Interview Details
- Time allocation is 10-15 minutes for each candidate
- Undergrad/ postgrad dissertation (if available) and a valid ID (AADHAAR/ PAN etc.) is required.
Note: Mark sheets and certificates are NOT required.
