VIGAN COLLEGE OVERVIEW

Likes

Faculty and the teaching staff are very experienced
Clean and hygiene atomospere and other cultural activities

Dislikes

The college management spent least priority on the other culturals

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect to choose the information technology course in our college is their faculty are very much experienced in coding skills The curriculum is always upto date which provides the needful skills for placements The curriculum should develop in terms of communication skills and management skills The exams are every month and the difficulty is increased for every test

review of VIIT based n my journey in the first year

Likes

The faculty at VIIT is quite supportive.
The VIIT visakhapatnam campus is quite spacious and has great infrastructure.
Management is very responible towards the students future.

Dislikes

The class hours are very lengthy and boring
they prioritize theoretical knowledge over practical knowledge
there are no student clubs for co curriculars and sports

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to placements from third year second semester. Campus placements are deteriorting especially in computer science branch due to the recession and several other factors. HIGHEST package in the previous year is around 24 lakh per annum offered by AMAZON.

Our college have experienced faculty they teach very well.
Seniors will interact with juniors and clarify the doubts
Placement offers are coming for all branches

Dislikes

College hostel is not maintain well not have good infrastructure in hostel

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students can eligible for the campus placements . highest package is 28 lpa and avg package is 5 lpa.91% got placements in the college.amazon ,Wipro , Accenture ,TCS etc are give placements in the college.if the college placement is not offered than we can study MTECH.

I like the faculty expertise, the professors demonstrate deep knowledge in their fields making the classes more intresting and informative
I liked the mentorship of the faculty, they were approachable all the time and help the student learn beyond studies
I liked the college amenities like labs and libraries where everything was maintained in a systematic way

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of the college, updating lecture halls would improve the appearance
I disliked the social interactions made in the college
I disliked the placement services in the college

Placement Experience:

Placements have been tough from the past 2 years due to recession period. But our college is trying to give best placements for the students. But most of the students are unable to get the placement from last 2 years.

Know about the college

Likes

The atmosphere inside the college was very nice with greenery everywhere
Infrastructure was good and they provide good lab equipment
More cultural activities in the college takes place very often

Dislikes

A bit concerned about the college timings
If we were late to the college even by a minute watchman didn't allow us till afternoon
They don't allow us outside the gate during the college hours

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for campus placements from 6th semester and sometimes 5th semester itself. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Amazon visted and made around 200 offers and someother companies gave offers to some more students. The highest package in the college history was 32LPA offered by Amazon company and it was 26LPA this year by Amazon.

Placements, vignan's institute of information technology has an upper hand in providing placements comparatively with other colleges in Visakhapatnam
Skill oriented sessions,, vignan's institute of information technology is famous for conducting hackathons , coding contests etc if someone is looking to join in CSE they can consider joining in vignan
Infrastructure,,, since the college is surrounded in trees and all. College have an extra space for sports and also a huge cricket ground too

Dislikes

Since there is an increase in sections they need to increase the classrooms too yet construction is going on but soon it will be completed.

Placement Experience:

More than 80% of the students from this college will definitely get a placement. And more than 40% will get above 5 lakhs pakage and more than 500 students will get above 7 lakh package. The placements drive will be held onwards in 3rd year 2nd semester. And they even provide extra recruitment training too. If you didn't get any placement you can further consider doing MTech after pursuing BTech

I really like my college infrastructure and mentoring session, where they mentor the students like a school kids by noticing students day to day and period to period attendence.
I like the overall working body of the college, by segregating into various departments to teach students.
I like the Teaching methods of the faculty by using Digital Screens for classes.

Dislikes

I doesn't like some of the faculty support, sometimes they doesn't support students in any placement or any other issues.

Placement Experience:

My college have a great record in campus placements, over 1200+ students gets placed at campus drives out of 1400 students. Nearly 90% of students gets placed in any of the company by the end of the day.

I like everyfrom my college.There is no things disliked from my college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good in my College.If uh have more knowledge and more communication skills uh can get job easily in companies.The drives will be conducted from your fourth year .The companies like Amazon Wipro Infosys TCS Accenture like this top companies will going to hire you.If you are not selected in the college placement uh can come out un can try off campuses placements.

#Our College Life

Likes

Initially I like the environment of the college it was very pleasant.The environment make us to get interest to study.
The second thing I like about my college is the opportunities,and they even support the students who were interested in sports and other activities.
Ultimately I like the infrastructure,the faculties,and the way the faculty behaviour towards the students..

Dislikes

I didn't like the way of teaching to students even though the faculty are capable of.
I didn't like some rules of our college like leaving outsiders the gate for 2 hours if the students were came late.
I didn't like some kind of rules of our college

Placement Experience:

In the middle of the 6 sem we are eli6for campus placements.Mostly Infosys , tech Mahendra , Amazon , Google etc, are the companies visited to our college.The highest package is 25 lakhs per annum. And the average package for a student is 10 lakhs per annum. More than 80% students are getting places in campus selection.

Likes

It has goood infrastructure with labs and spacious class rooms
Very knowledgeable faculty are hired in this college to educate the students
