Life in Vignan College

Likes

The labs are the technology provisions are very good.
Supportive HoDs and Placement officers are there.
Extra curricular activities are encouraged if done from student's interest.

Dislikes

Canteen and food facilities can be improved.

Placement Experience:

Training will be offered to students who paid training fee. This is for preparing for the on-campus placements. Placements are consistent in my opinion. If you worked a bit on basics, you'll have a job offer iin hand.

Likes

the college infrastructure is quite appericiable
active placement cell with decent opportunities
vibrant extracurricular activities, events and clubs

Dislikes

increment in fee annually is quite concerning
quality and availability of food and hostel facilities
fewer internship opportunities and live projects in some departments

Placement Experience:

the college has strong placement record with students becoming eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards.top companies like amazon, tcs, accenture, infosys visit the campus offering decent roles.the hightest package of 48 lpa while avg.package was around 3.5 lpa. approx: 60-75% students secure placements. if i dont get palced, i plan to pursue higher studies or internships to enhance my skills and employability

Navigation the college decision .

Likes

Cultural fests are the best in our college, where all aluminis and celebrities come to our college
Labs and library facilities are very good and useful. There are atleast 20 number of labs for students.
All the facilities in the college are student friendly including security also.

Dislikes

Timings are so harsh, early morning college timings.
Drainage facilities and roads before our college are not good, more dust around the college which leads to many problems.
Washrooms are the worst in our College, won't have a proper water facilities.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college is far better than compared to other colleges in our city. Highest package is about 23 lacs and least is 2.5 lacs. Colleges assures to bring placement to each and every student in the campus. Also our college conducts campus pool where students from other colleges also participate in campus drives. The percentage of students getting placed is 80% of total students. Placement are conducted in both offline and in online mode, so more number of companies will be visiting our campus.

Likes

The campus infrastructure is good and is maintained well
The library and computer labs are well facilitated with the resources
The faculty are well trained and educated

Dislikes

The quality of the canteen food must be improved
The washrooms maintainance must be improved
The classrooms availability must be ensured because sometimes the classrooms are not available due to higher strength

Placement Experience:

From the 3-2 semester the students become eligible for the campus placements Until now 17 companies visited the campus for the placement drive The average package is 6lpa 50% of the students get placed every year

The infrastructure is very good at our college
Infrastructure includes computer labs with best computers
The library has no of books and digital library too

Dislikes

The over discipline like stopping students at gate after 9:10
No proper instructions for the sports person in issuing of equipment of
The canteen maintenance was not that much good

Likes

My college environment and classrooms are good
The way they will encourage in other activities
Sports and cultural activities every year

Dislikes

Some things like strict during the examination period
No holidays during small vacations and occasions
No improper dress is allowed in the normal days too

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like studying the mechanical course. Where my brother motivates me. The sem exams will be conducted in the afternoon session for every year. The Ciriculum prepares we well for the ciriculum for real world applications

Likes

The faculty are so good and experienced in teaching, the faculty all are PG holders.
This college encourages special talents also.
The college infrastructure also so good.

Dislikes

Should take some keen look into canteen food.
Should increase the classrooms more and make them space.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements for this college is very good. The highest package till now is 45 LPA. The minimum package is around 3.5 LPA. In this college each and every student will get out of the college with some placement package.

Likes

The system where college follows was good according to the studies
Proper dress code is taken for every student with respect to years
Sports competition is healthy and college conducts more sports activities

Dislikes

Punishment for late coming to college little bit more
Fest and celebrations are not more compare with other colleges
Some rules are little bit over like celebrating birthday of friends are not allowed inside the college

Placement Experience:

During 6th semester and 7th semester placement drive is eligible for students and many companies like amazon, accenture, tcs etc multi national companies are came to my colleague and around 1000 plus placements takes place every year. Highest package of our college is 32LPA from Amazon and average of 3LPA takes place in our college more than 70% students placed every year. After my degree I got placed from campus placement but my aim is different so I accused it

college timing is not suitable for the non local students
sports will not encourage in the college
problems of students will not understand by the staff for late fees , even the exams also stops to the students who didnot pay the feee

In civil engineering the oppurtunies for the jobs are more. Even studying civil engineering we can learn python, c, jawa etc if we are interested with any probelm. But extra fee also charged for those courses.

Good if you study best worst if u leave any supply

IIT faculty teacher, free space , new technology 3d printing labs
Faculty is very supportive they don't hesitate to explain how many times we want
Near to rail way station and kurmanpalem

Dislikes

Food quality is ok not that good, adds more oil
Bus fee is high to the near places charging 18000 for average 8kmfor
Very strict in Internal marks they will not add extra it will make ur grade fall

1From four 1 sem u can apply for jobs college will inform you about campus placement 2 I visited 2 companies made 0 offers 3 highes 2024 is 28 lpa but the base salary is very less , average package is 3lpa 4 more than 50 percent gets placed 5 startup
