Likes

The infrastructure of the college is extremely good as we expected. The sceneries and the Greenery on either side brings us peace and happiness
Our college Faculties are best in technical and non technical knowledges. They are super friendly.
This college has huge number of knowledgeable books in library.

Dislikes

The benches in the classroom will be less comfortable.
There's a problem in availability of water but still they are trying to manage.
The canteen food is hygienic but still doesn't tastes good.

Admission:

I applied to Chennai Institute of technology where the fee structure was enormously high. Ehere as the SRM valliammai has good infrastructure and also the fee was reasonable. No, i didn't get rejection from Chennai Institute of technology. But i got impressed when i went for visiting SRM valliammai as one of my college hunt. SRM valliammai offers both government quota and also admission directly to the college. I went through government quota. So to apply SRM on should be completed 12th grade with reasonable percentage. A percentage of atleast 70 out of 100. In cutoff, it can be from 155 - 195 and above. Moreover all the staffs helps for the admission and the process.

The aspects of the college that i was appreciating they give more opportunities for learning they daily engaging the students.
Our college campus and infrastructure is very nice and iur faculties are too good and they are more helpful for students.
The give more placements and training and they offer many course for students.

Dislikes

Dislike means they are not conducting more function
But they are conducting symposium related there courses. Away from that they are not introducing many things
College time is only for my dislike much later they was starting the college means it will be good

Admission:

I am applied more colleges for my counseling proces i put this college in 3 or 4 th place in before i put psg ssn but i put some other courses in that college but my college only they give this courese for my mark basis. Is SRM Valliammai Engineering Worth It? Here’s My Honest Take!

Our school is furnished with numerous offices, similar to great Wi-Fi network, extensive computerized classrooms, and a very much supplied library with an enormous assortment of books.
The nature of food in college canteens and hostel is agreeable.
Facilities are very well-learned and supportive for us, and their showing principles are excellent enough for us.

Dislikes

There is no cultural events with the exception of one college day capability consistently.
There is no specialized information given in the prospectus, and employees additionally give no specialized data to you.
It is not due to the students incapability, but due to campus incapability to get core company to come for placement.

Admission:

I am basically a CBSE student with 87.2 % in my 12th. My aggregate is about 184 out of 200. The Tamilnadu Chief minister released a criteria which stated 7.5 % seats should be occupied for the Tamilnadu Government school students. Thus, I don't got the chance to enroll myself in the Top Tamilnadu colleges.

Engineering under 4 lakh rupee?

I liked the fact that the placement cell of SRM Valliammai engineering college were never compromising on anything that relates to job offers, they push students to apply for a wider range of corporate companies and have tie-ups with most of them.
The library facility adds up to other thing that I liked. You can opt for books from the library from your identity card itself and make use of libraries throughout the day.
The canteen facility for the day scholar students is another interesting fact that gives you food at affordable prices with a good quality if incase you had to forget your home food on some ospicious days

Dislikes

The transportation facility for day scholars is very limited. The bus facility comes for a cost and that doesn't really cover most of the important parts of the city so it was a drawback for people who were opting for comfort over convenience.
The exam schedules were not really published professionally rather I could recall it was sent as pictures on whatsapp groups, this happened all the way upto the end semester examinations that really had some impact though.
The entire campus revolves around a single building so there were days one have to wait for a long time for the lift or also there were some instances were the lift becomes un operational and students had to climb the stairs.

Admission:

I have applied to rajalakshmi engineering college as well which was known for its excellence but the main drawback being that place is overcrowded and the transportation facilities were difficult also it was quite expensive. These things were sorted for me in SRM Valliammai engineering college already.

From fresher's day to Final year: A glimpse into SRM VEC

Campus Life: The peaceful ambiance, surrounded by trees and temples, creates a serene environment conducive to learning and relaxation.
Food and Canteens: The campus offers a variety of hygienic and tasty food options with diverse cuisines across multiple canteens.
Extra-curricular Activities: The college hosts a variety of events like sports, symposiums, college Day, and cultural celebrations promoting holistic student engagement.

Dislikes

Attendance Policy: The strict focus on attendance percentage feels excessive, with a more flexible approach being beneficial.
Placements: While placement opportunities are good, additional pre-placement traing would better prepare students for interviews.
Infrastructure: Certain classrooms could be upgraded to enhance the learning experience.

Admission:

I got into Panimalar Engineering College via Counselling process, but decided not to go as the college was very strict and Underexposed. The travelling journey of other colleges was also a bit complicated as we must avail the college bus services as they are located in secluded places, where there are no other means of public transportation available. While SRM Valliammai Engineering College could easily be reached using the public train and bus transportation available in every 20 mins interval.

Faculties are very supportive, friendly, they help us in our studies, we can ask any doubt,they guide us till placements..most of the faculties are phd holders, they share may knowledge with us,they are literally like friends
College infrastructure is good,they maintain clean surroundings, all the restrooms are maintained clean, drinking water is also good,they give important to cleanliness, all classrooms are smart classrooms which is easy for the students
They conduct many curricular and non curriculuar events, they not only give importance to academic side,but also the sports ,dance,singing etc....they give various opportunities for the students. Which will help to choose their various field

Dislikes

The bus fee is comparatively high,per student the fee is now 70000 ,and the hostel fee is also high ,
And there is less placements for core companies, for IT the placement are good,placements for core companies should come

Admission:

I came through counselling, the cut off for Cse,It,ece and all 180+,i selected this college because of its placement and ,the college is Liberal compared to other colleges,the eligibility for this college is if you are going through counselling process you should have cut off ,or if you are going through management,should pay the full fee, they don't have any exams, and the admission process is also very simple

A true story of an SRM VEC student ?

Likes

The department staffs were very helpful amd good teaching
The events conducted by the SRM University
I travel to college by train daily in the morning and evening

Dislikes

The infrastructure is quite good and well
The water purifier for our department is not well working
There is no crossing bridge to cross from opposite when travelling in train

Admission:

I choose this college because it's a branch of SRM. And I had selected in tamilnadu counselling, so I choose this college. Although I had booked seat in Sairam college, but I had allotted in VALLIAMMAI ENGINEERING COLLEGE which is in the fourth place, so I decided to study here

The campus was very beautiful and the rules were limited.
Our college conducts a lots of events for each month by each department.
The dress code was not that strict .The only thing is you should maintain 75% attendance

Nothing much everything was fine for me .

I scored around 530 in my 12th standard so I researched with other colleges cut off but my cut off was low so this college was referred by my brother and then he got admission for me in this college. I was a management student.
