Hostel Facilities:

There is boys and girls hostel . Each has 8 floor , each can accomodate 400 to 500 students. both veg and non veg foods are available. Hostel warden are separate for both boys and girls. the accomodation of 3 members , 4 members and etc.Bathrooms are connected to the rooms. also common bathrooms are available.Indoor activites are also available. Medical service are available all time.

The hostel room consists of 3 members of the same year. They provide room also with an attached washroom. There are several rules, and time limits. We have regular study hours 8:30 to 10:30 pm. The only importance given is safety

SRM VALLIAMMAI ENGINEERING COLLEGE REVIEW

The TRS Hostel blocks for SRM Valliammai Engineering College lies at the back of the campus, The rooms are not good, one can stay in a group of 2 or 3 and accordingly the room size and the number of cots varies. The cupboards and damaged, the walls are dirty. The food they provide in the hostels was pretty decent. You will be provided unlimited food (not specialties) in the hostel mess and different varieties of foods are served every day. One can apply for hostel facilities directly at the reception or through the online website of the college. The hostel is affordable and you will be asked to provide an extra fee in case if you need an attached bathroom ( TRS A block comes with an attached bathroom, TRS B block comes with a common bathroom). Overall the hostel Facility Is decent.

The hostel is affordable to everyone with 3meal/day course with morning and evening snacks tea, coffee and milk, bread, butter also kept regularly for everyone. Meal quality is okay. The menu has different varieties of food including veg and non-veg. Non-vegetarian (chicken/fish) is on Wednesday night and Sundays afternoon. Even for veg, there are mushroom, paneer, cauliflower with the various course. The registration is done in-office and confirmation are done by senior wardens. The hostel has an attached bathroom and non-attached bathroom with 24 hrs water facilities and cleaning is regularly done for rooms and bathrooms, laundry is also available, washing stones of self-washing with a separate washing area. The hostel also allows outside food during particular timing like swiggy, zomato, etc. The hostel doesn't have AC rooms. Study hours are on weekdays.Hostelhhas24hrs wifi with 1GB/day. There are also PG in the Surrounding area near other, urapakam, guduvancherry with TV, wifi, food with or with out AC.

Golden days of college life at SRMVEC

Three members per room. Each one is provided with a bed, study table with chair, cupboard. We have a gym, library, reading hall, sports, even bicycles to ride within the hostel area. The menu is highly nutrition selected for students. The meal quality is good too. Warden is friendly in nature makes us feel like a home away from home. The hostel is present inside the campus, so safer area. The campus also has a hospital which is a walkable distance from the hostel. Many fast food shops, stationery shops, etc are present inside the campus even with ATM facilities. Highly recommendable. If you rented a room or PG near the area cost up to Rs. 8000 -10,000/- per month.

Usually, three people are allotted to a room. There are some attached bathroom rooms also. Each student is provided a chair, table, and cupboard. There would be a solar heater here. So the students don't need to worry about hot water here. The quality of the meal here is very good. At each mealtime, we would be having 2 to 3 dishes. We would be having tea, milk, and coffee during the morning and evening. The registration for a hostel is done in the college office itself. The fees here are also affordable only.

Hostel room is shared by three members where each one is provided with a cupboard,table and chair Hostel food will only be provided during the specified timings And the food will be of decent quality Rooms are also decent but bathrooms will be a bit dirty There are some PG's and hostels that are private they charge aroung 7-10k permonth

Hostel rooms are very much available and hostel fee nearly 100000 and if you option for the pg near by college it will cost 6000 per month. andPG near by are very close to college you no need to travel more.

Nope, but friends said it's Okey and facilities also very good especially food is awesome 1.weekly twice non veg 2.unlimilited food 3.taste is good not excellent 4.but we have to go to time to get food otherwise we won't get it
