Likes

Good environment ,infrastructure and in OMR road which means the bypass
Good management , inside the campus having more facility
Basket ball court ,computer labs and canteen

Dislikes

No words to say because everything was good which means i liked everything in my college

Internships Opportunities:

I forget the internship company but the internships are low in this college but inside college there are more oppertunities to submit good projects related to our core and if any doubt means freely ask to professors and they help together

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is extremely good as we expected. The sceneries and the Greenery on either side brings us peace and happiness
Our college Faculties are best in technical and non technical knowledges. They are super friendly.
This college has huge number of knowledgeable books in library.

Dislikes

The benches in the classroom will be less comfortable.
There's a problem in availability of water but still they are trying to manage.
The canteen food is hygienic but still doesn't tastes good.

Internships Opportunities:

Zoho, Accenture, Mahindra tech Service based conpany and the customer service outcomes which give a best technical experience to students. This helps to imporved student's technical knowledge and take insights.

Likes

The aspects of the college that i was appreciating they give more opportunities for learning they daily engaging the students.
Our college campus and infrastructure is very nice and iur faculties are too good and they are more helpful for students.
The give more placements and training and they offer many course for students.

Dislikes

Dislike means they are not conducting more function
But they are conducting symposium related there courses. Away from that they are not introducing many things
College time is only for my dislike much later they was starting the college means it will be good

Internships Opportunities:

We are going other college for more internships and then only they give placements here after i will move to internship process at all and projects in 3 rd year mini project and the final year project we will be provide

Engineering under 4 lakh rupee?

I liked the fact that the placement cell of SRM Valliammai engineering college were never compromising on anything that relates to job offers, they push students to apply for a wider range of corporate companies and have tie-ups with most of them.
The library facility adds up to other thing that I liked. You can opt for books from the library from your identity card itself and make use of libraries throughout the day.
The canteen facility for the day scholar students is another interesting fact that gives you food at affordable prices with a good quality if incase you had to forget your home food on some ospicious days

Dislikes

The transportation facility for day scholars is very limited. The bus facility comes for a cost and that doesn't really cover most of the important parts of the city so it was a drawback for people who were opting for comfort over convenience.
The exam schedules were not really published professionally rather I could recall it was sent as pictures on whatsapp groups, this happened all the way upto the end semester examinations that really had some impact though.
The entire campus revolves around a single building so there were days one have to wait for a long time for the lift or also there were some instances were the lift becomes un operational and students had to climb the stairs.

Internships Opportunities:

There are some internship opportunities provided through campus placements but apart from that I couldn't recall if there was anything else. People can opt for internships outside the campus and can request for permission for the same to the principal.

Campus Life: The peaceful ambiance, surrounded by trees and temples, creates a serene environment conducive to learning and relaxation.
Food and Canteens: The campus offers a variety of hygienic and tasty food options with diverse cuisines across multiple canteens.
Extra-curricular Activities: The college hosts a variety of events like sports, symposiums, college Day, and cultural celebrations promoting holistic student engagement.

Dislikes

Attendance Policy: The strict focus on attendance percentage feels excessive, with a more flexible approach being beneficial.
Placements: While placement opportunities are good, additional pre-placement traing would better prepare students for interviews.
Infrastructure: Certain classrooms could be upgraded to enhance the learning experience.

Placement Experience:

The placements begin at the starting of your 5th semester, but only a few companies visit during your 3rd year. The actual placement starts at the very beginning of your 7th semester. First-tier and Second-tier companies like Kaar technologies, Multicore, Hexaware, Triyam, Propel, Cognizant, Zoho, TCS, Wipro, etc.., The highest package being 22 Lpa, lowest being 2.5 Lpa and the average package being 4-8 Lpa. About 75-90% of students are getting places, whereas the remaining are students who continues with higher studies in abroad.

Faculties are very supportive, friendly, they help us in our studies, we can ask any doubt,they guide us till placements..most of the faculties are phd holders, they share may knowledge with us,they are literally like friends
College infrastructure is good,they maintain clean surroundings, all the restrooms are maintained clean, drinking water is also good,they give important to cleanliness, all classrooms are smart classrooms which is easy for the students
They conduct many curricular and non curriculuar events, they not only give importance to academic side,but also the sports ,dance,singing etc....they give various opportunities for the students. Which will help to choose their various field

Dislikes

The bus fee is comparatively high,per student the fee is now 70000 ,and the hostel fee is also high ,
And there is less placements for core companies, for IT the placement are good,placements for core companies should come

Placement Experience:

The placements scenario is good in our college. 85 percent of the students were nearly placed in top MNCs with some of them being service based companies. Companies including Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Google, Accenture, Well wired, TCS and DXC visited for placements. The highest package offered is 36 LPA.

A true story of an SRM VEC student ?

Likes

The department staffs were very helpful amd good teaching
The events conducted by the SRM University
I travel to college by train daily in the morning and evening

Dislikes

The infrastructure is quite good and well
The water purifier for our department is not well working
There is no crossing bridge to cross from opposite when travelling in train

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the students are eligible for the placement drives, they quoting 6,000 for every students to attend the placement, if not interested, no need to pay....I think this is common in every colleges. Only the students with academic knowledge and departmental knowledge, they can be placed, and the packages are good.

Sports and culturals are encouraged and done in very grand manner
It is deemed college so we get a very good placement
There is no ragging problem and all very well disciplined college

Dislikes

Parking problem if you're coming in vehicle

We last time went to a internship ina government internship corporation That is NSIC and that was a good experience And we learned and gained more about the real time experiences in company around us

Likes

The campus was very beautiful and the rules were limited.
Our college conducts a lots of events for each month by each department.
The dress code was not that strict .The only thing is you should maintain 75% attendance

Dislikes

Nothing much everything was fine for me .

The provide internship companies for students to get benefitted from them They also provide holidays for the students who had gone for internship and they make sure that everyone had gone for an internship.
