I'm currently doing my computer science studies at IIIT Kancheepuram in Chennai. Some other notable colleges here include VIT, SRM, Sathyabama, and the well-known IIT Madras.

I can only speak for BJMC since that's where I'm studying MBBS. The curriculum is very well-structured, and the faculty are all senior doctors who really know their stuff. We have internal exams every four months, which keeps us on our toes. The campus is great, with lots of extracurricular activities, and the hostel facilities are affordable at just 4,000 per year. Scholarships are also available, which makes it easier for students from different backgrounds. If you’re looking for a supportive environment with decent fees and good learning opportunities, BJMC is a solid option.

I would say that Gurunanak College is a decent option for doing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). The campus life is vibrant, with many extracurricular activities and events that keep things interesting. The fees are manageable, starting at around 61,000 per year, and there are scholarships available for students from SC/ST backgrounds. The placement scene is also encouraging, with many companies coming for recruitment, so if you are proactive, you can definitely secure a good job after your studies.

I would recommend visiting Guru Nanak College in Chennai for your PG in Rural Development at least once a week. This frequency allows you to stay updated with any important announcements and interact with faculty members, which is crucial for your academic success.

I'm a student at Guru Nanak College, currently in my third year of B.Com. Let me share some insights about my college.

First off, the campus is truly beautiful. From the entrance to the main building, you walk through lovely trees, making it a delightful experience, especially when it's raining. Just a heads up, though, it can take a bit of time to reach the main building.

Next, there's plenty of parking for both bikes and cars. The college boasts one of the largest grounds, which is well-kept by Chennai Cements.

In terms of infrastructure, the classrooms are great, particularly for bachelor's degree students, and even some master's students have good facilities.

The college is well-connected with transportation options. There's a bus stop right outside, and the railway station is close by. The faculty here is really friendly, and there's a strong anti-ragging policy, though ragging isn't an issue on campus.

There are lots of places to check out nearby, like Phoenix Mall, which is within walking distance. Our principal is approachable and always considers student comfort. You could say he's a pretty cool guy.
