I think Guru Nanak College is one of the best arts colleges in Tamil Nadu. I studied Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] there, and the faculty is quite good. They are supportive, and the curriculum is structured well for understanding practical applications.

The fees are reasonable, around ?60,000 per year, which is not too high compared to other colleges. The campus life is vibrant with many extracurricular activities, and there's a good chance for placements as well. Companies like TCS and Wipro actively visit for recruitment, which is a big plus. Overall, my experience has been quite positive.

Another college I would recommend is the one offering Bachelor of Arts [BA] in Defence and Strategic Studies. The curriculum is unique and covers a lot of ground related to military and international relations, which is fascinating. The faculty is well-qualified, and they really care about the students. The fees are also affordable, around ?30,000 per year. Plus, they have a good sports culture and various clubs that you can join, which makes college life enjoyable. If you're interested in a specialized degree, this could be a great choice.

If you are looking for a solid arts college, I would say check out Guru Nanak College again, particularly for their Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] programs, like in Mathematics or Biotechnology. The infrastructure is quite good, and they have excellent library facilities. The fee structure is manageable, roughly around ?22,000 for B.Sc. They also provide good internship opportunities, helping students gain practical experience. While campus life could be more vibrant, the academic support is notable, and many companies come for placements. Overall, it’s a decent choice for arts students in Tamil Nadu.
