I can only speak for BJMC since that's where I'm studying MBBS. The curriculum is very well-structured, and the faculty are all senior doctors who really know their stuff. We have internal exams every four months, which keeps us on our toes. The campus is great, with lots of extracurricular activities, and the hostel facilities are affordable at just 4,000 per year. Scholarships are also available, which makes it easier for students from different backgrounds. If you’re looking for a supportive environment with decent fees and good learning opportunities, BJMC is a solid option.

I had a tough time deciding between colleges, but I ended up at BJMC for MBBS after scoring well in NEET. The faculty here is amazing, with many professors specializing in their fields, making the learning experience enriching. The practical exposure during internships is excellent, and you can earn while learning.

The campus is vibrant, with lots of activities and events throughout the year, which makes it a fun place to study. While I can't comment on JJ College, my experience at BJMC has been very positive, and I would recommend it for anyone serious about a career in medicine.

If you're deciding between JJ College in Mumbai and BJMC in Pune for your undergraduate studies, I'd lean towards recommending BJMC in Pune. From what I've heard, BJMC offers a slightly better academic experience. The college is known for its solid teaching, regular clinics, and emphasis on academic events. Plus, if you enjoy extracurriculars, BJMC provides plenty of options like trekking, social work, stage competitions, and sports. While JJ College in Mumbai also has great extracurriculars, it seems to be less focused on academics according to some students I know there.

One thing to keep in mind about BJMC is that their internship program, especially in departments like Medicine, Obgy, and Pediatrics, is quite rigorous and demanding. On the other hand, JJ College appears to maintain a more relaxed approach towards internships.

As someone who did well in both the UG and PG CETs but chose not to attend G.S. Medical College, I'd say there's not much difference between Mumbai's colleges and BJMC Pune when it comes to doing your MBBS. Hope this helps you make a decision.

Choosing between JJ College in Mumbai and BJMC in Pune can be tough. I personally chose BJMC for my MBBS, and I found the faculty to be really experienced and supportive. The internship is done at a government hospital, which is a big plus. You get a stipend of around 18,000 during the internship, and the exposure is quite extensive.

Plus, the campus life is lively with various cultural events like Vedant, which adds to the overall experience. The fees structure is manageable too, especially with the scholarships available for SC/ST students. If you want a solid medical education with good exposure, I’d say BJMC is a better choice.

Both JJ College in Mumbai and BJMC in Pune are great options, but I personally favor Grant Medical College for several reasons.

  • It is well-known across India and is ranked 5th nationwide.
  • The college offers a lot of activities that contribute to your personal growth. You'll develop a fantastic GMC spirit and emerge as a well-rounded individual and a great doctor.
  • JJ Hospital, established around 1850, is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in modern India.
  • Being located in the capital city means it boasts top-notch infrastructure and numerous centers of excellence, setting a benchmark for other colleges.
  • The events held here are on a grand scale.

I could go on, but I admit I might be a bit biased towards my college. However, having the JJ tag definitely gives you an edge. Thanks!
