I would say that Gurunanak College is a decent option for doing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). The campus life is vibrant, with many extracurricular activities and events that keep things interesting. The fees are manageable, starting at around 61,000 per year, and there are scholarships available for students from SC/ST backgrounds. The placement scene is also encouraging, with many companies coming for recruitment, so if you are proactive, you can definitely secure a good job after your studies.

Yes, Gurunanak College in Velachery is quite good for pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). The faculty is supportive, and the teaching methods are effective, which I really appreciate. The curriculum is well-structured and covers essential topics that help in real-world applications. The fees are also reasonable compared to other colleges; I paid around 60,000 per year. Plus, there are good internship opportunities with companies like Infosys and Cognizant, which is a big plus for placements later on. Overall, I think it's a solid choice for B.Com.

From my experience, Gurunanak College is good for pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). The faculty is knowledgeable, and they maintain a good student-teacher ratio, which helps in understanding the subjects better. The internship opportunities are quite valuable, with many students getting placed in reputed companies. The overall fees are quite reasonable, making it accessible for many students. If you’re looking for a solid B.Com program in Chennai, I think this college is worth considering.

I'm currently in my second year at Gurunanak College, and I think it's a great place for undergraduate studies. Here are a few things I love about it:

  • The campus is truly lovely. From the entrance to the main building, you're surrounded by beautiful trees, which is especially nice during the rainy season. Just a heads-up, though, it can take a bit of time to reach the main building.
  • There's plenty of parking for both bikes and cars, and the college boasts one of the largest grounds, maintained by Chennai Cements.
  • The classrooms are top-notch, especially for bachelor's students, and they are quite good even for some master's students.
  • Transportation is really convenient with a bus stop right at the entrance and a railway station close by. The faculty here is friendly, and there's an anti-ragging committee, though ragging isn't an issue on campus.
  • You'll find plenty of things to do nearby, like visiting Phoenix Mall, which is just a short walk away. The principal is approachable and genuinely cares about student comfort, making him quite the cool guy.

Overall, Gurunanak College is an excellent choice for UG studies. I'm really happy with my decision to study here, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too if you decide to join. Thanks for reading, and I hope this helps!
