Likes

Various scholarships are available to students with the most prominent one being awarded for excellent performance in cat/ xat exam.
The teachers are well qualified and extremely helpful and they are always ready to help.
Placement opportunities are very good with good companies coming for talent acquisition and faculty are highly knowledgeable.

Dislikes

Bias and discrimination in students, in the terms of basic facilities and hostility
There are some restriction related to time that in summers we have to enter in hostel by 7:30 and in winters it is 6:30 pm so it is very early that why some students dont like this
The college is situated in a place that's not very cheerful there are so many college around

Review of BIMTECH college by resident student

Likes

Good quality of food in hostel mess and canteen services available round the clock
Extremely qualified faculty, with 20+ years of corporate and reaching experience
A healthy and Inclusive environment of the college and faculty

Dislikes

Bus services leave a lot to be desired, with possible delays and long intervals between the service
During college festivals, food is available only on campus premises and not on hostel. So everyone has to go to the campus, even if one is ill or does not want to attend the celebration

Placement Experience:

Students at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) become eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and ICICI Bank visit the campus, offering various profiles. The highest package offered can range from ?20-25 lakhs per annum, with an average package of ?8-10 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students securing placements is typically high, and my plans after completing the degree would depend on job opportunities available, career interests, and personal goals.

Unveiling BIMTECH : A Student's perspective

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good. The campus is very clean and green.
The faculty is very experienced, some have more than 40 years of experience in their respective domains.
Food is of good quality and other amenities such as medical centre, gym, and almost every necessity is available inside the campus

Dislikes

Rules are too strict. Everyone has to return back to their hostels by 7:30pm in summers and 6 pm in winters
Lack of a proper sports ground , though a small ground is there at the boys hostel but it is small

Placement Experience:

College boasts a 100% placement record. Highest package in 2023 stood at INR 23.43 LPA, average package being INR 11.25 LPA. Over 92 organizations such as KPMG, EY, Maruti suzuki, TATA AIG, Tech Mahindra, Dabur, WIPRO, ADP, Deloitte, etc participated in the placement drive and placed students across various sectors like consultancy, financial services, FMCG, Insurance, Bamking, Sales, Etc. Recently FOR batch of 2024 BLACKROCK visited the campus and took 15 students from finance domain. The average packade witnessed an increaseof 20% in 2023 as compared to 2022.

A brief into about the life at BIMTECH

Likes

The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and offers a great opportunity to learn.
There is enough diversity at the college so you never feel like an outsider.

Dislikes

The mess provides good veg food, but the lack of variety is obvious as the menu just repeats most of the time.

Placement Experience:

Placements usually start by the beginning of the 5th trimester and the college does it's best to ensure that every student gets placed. The college placement team also provides advice to those who are unsure of their profile on ways to improve said profile and gain more visibility in the eyes of recruiters.

Review of Bimtech

Likes

Students and campus life was pretty good here.
The faculty was good and helpfull where you can go to them anywhere.
Library has good number books for.refrence on projects.

Dislikes

Mess food was not to good at the starting.
Hostel is having curfew time after which you are not allowed inside.
Cigrate smoking zone sare not available wiith no vommon space for sitting and talking.

Placement Experience:

The placment season is going and there is a placment of 80% done. with an average package of 10lak. Most of the profile is sales and so.e in insurance sector. My plans is complete my studies and join a company as manager.

Life at BIMTECH

Likes

What i liked the most about the college is the decorum of whole college and how it operates. Faculty and seniors are really helpful.
Seniors are also helpful and will suggest at each step of this journey.
Help from alumnis can also be availed with the help of college database.

Placement Experience:

Placements till now are up to the mark and each student gets the chance to get into various companies that come to the college. Big companies arrive on campus for the placements and pick the most suitable students for them. The college has been offering 100% placement assistance.

Culture: the culture of college is too fascinating
Diversity: college has students from all around the India
Opportunity: college provides various opportunities to showcase your talent

Dislikes

Location: college is located out of Delhi which makes traveling lil bit hectic though it is connected with the metro line.

Placement Experience:

Placement for the college is 100% and the average placement for PGDM CORE is 10.5 lpa, for insurance it's 8.5 lpa, for retail it's 9.5 lpa. Companies starts coming from the September and everyone gets placed by the end of December.

Dislikes

I dislike about bus services for the students. Buses are old and non-A/C
I dislike about the food and the mess timing is very strict. Food is vegeterian only.
Inside college there are so many restrictions are making students uncomfortable and hesitate to speak about it.

Some MNCs like Tata Motors, Volvo, Dabur, Accenture, Mars, Haldiram, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, Hyundai, Johnson & Johnson, etc. come to the campus for recruitment. And previous batch got placed successfully except for one student.

The college offers 100% placements with the package ranging from 7-14 lacs. The average package is 9.8 lacs for BIMTECH. Quite good companies visit our college like ADP, Titan, Wipro, Banks, etc and recruit both the freshers and the work experienced. The Marketing placements are the best in BIMTECH. The details regarding the placement are available on the website which is authentic and trustworthy.

Students become eligible from the 5th semester for their final campus placements. companies like darwin box, adp, Volvo, bata, kantar, sbi cards, and many more. the highest package was 23.43 lakhs and the average package was 11.5 lakhs. each company offers 1-2 offers to students. this year also we have seen 100% placements and my plan after getting the degree is also to get placed in a good fintech company as I am from a finance background with a good CTC.
