Course Curriculum Overview
I had a plan to pursue a career in marketing. Hence, I took this course which PGDM-Marketing. Students: Faculty ratio based is 12:1. All the faculties( 99%) directly come from industry. Maximum is Ph.D. holders. They are exceptionally qualified and they teach you to make you industry ready. On this campus, the trimester system is there. i.e. every 3 months, end terms exams happen and in between surprise tests and presentations are done. It is not so difficult to pass, if you give some attention, you will pass the exams easily.
Internships Opportunities
Some of the major companies like Goodyear, Dabur, Mars, BAGIC, Cvent, Ananda Dairy, and TVS came for internship opportunities. Most came for sales internships but also some companies came for strategic planning and Market research profiles.
Placement Experience
From Trimester four which is from the second year, students become eligible for campus placements. Some MNCs like Tata Motors, Volvo, Dabur, Accenture, Mars, Haldiram, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, Hyundai, Johnson & Johnson, etc. come to the campus for recruitment. And previous batch got placed successfully except for one student.
Fees and Financial Aid
The flagship program is PGDM Core which costs 1600000. The fee structure is done in four installments. Installment1-355000, installment2-300000, installment3-305000, installment4-300000. Toppers of every program in every trimester got a scholarship of 50000rs. I got an internship at Ananda Dairy with a stipend of 10,000rs.
Campus Life
There are so many clubs are conduits that organize various fests. The annual program is a reflection organized by the Alumni conduit. The library is having good spaces and overall book availability is also good. I am not fully satisfied with the classrooms and their infrastructure. I have an issue with classroom spaces and chairs. There is a sports club that organizes various sports along with other physical activities like Kho-Kho and other games. Clubs like Bizmark, E-cell, Eco-Chamber, Finwiz club, Majlis, Opscan etc. and conduits like Alumni conduit, CSR conduit, Sports conduits, Media, food conduits and many more are there.
Hostel Facilities
For Hostel rooms, I would like to give 3/5 ratings and for toilets 2/5. Mess is okay. The meal is all vegetarian and for quality 3/5 only. There is no registration process. Students have to stay at the hostel. It is mandatory. Locality-2/5.
Admission
Actually, I am from Nepal. I am studying here on a scholarship provided by the Ministry of Nepal. So, for me, entrance exams were conducted in Nepal itself. And here, I had to give a technical Interview. Again, for general students cut-off is 75%.
Interview Experience
I faced GDs and face-to-face interviews. I remember some of the topics of GDs, Pink pajamas flying over parliament, and connected cars. Firstly apply from the online application, and fill out the form, the college will contact you, then they schedule a date for GDs and then PLS. I asked one of the alumni of this college about this.
