- There are strict time restrictions for entry in the hostels.
- You have to take permissions from different authorities if you want to go out for long leave.
- I feel that sometimes the rules and restrictions are a little much.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum covers relevant topics and it is very comprehensive. The course keeps on updating every year as the college recognizes the need to teach students relevant topics. Students also go for industry visits.
Internships Opportunities
There were internships offered by companies like KPMG, Zomato, Oxane and more. The companies majorly hired students for doing projects like in my case I did a project where I made Marketing plan for offsite user segment of adhesives.
Placement Experience
The college provides opportunities for placements in top companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placement include EY, Wipro, BlackRock, Panasonic, ICICI Bank, Darwin Box and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution feess is around INR 13,00,000 and mess & hostel fees is INR 4,00,000. This makes the total fees around INR 17,00,000. There are different scholarships available. Campus Life
The campus life is very good in BIMTECH. The campus has amenities like gym, basketball court, badminton court, cafeteria, tuck shop etc. The food mess is also very good and provides variety of food. There are many clubs and conduits here like food conduit, marketing club BIZMARK, Operations club OPSCAN and many more.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good. There are decent sized rooms in the hostels. Ac is provided but there are specific timings during which the AC works. Cafteria and tuck shops are available near the hostel for the students.
Admission
The college provided decent value for money with a very strong alumini network working across various industries. The teachers are very experienced and have excellent industry knowledge. The college also provides opportunities for placements in top companies like EY, Wipro, Blackrock and many more.
Faculty
Faculty at BIMTECH is very good and experienced. Initially you study a mix of different subjects of finance, marketing, hr, operations and then later on you can select your subjects for specialisation.
Interview Experience
Yes there was a Personal interview that took place. A date and time was conveyed for the online interview along with the link through a mail. Questions were about my UG, reasons to do MBA/PGDM and some other general questions. I prepared by revising my UG concepts and keeping myself updated with current news.
Night Life
After 7:00 pm you are not allowed to go outside the campus. Inside the campus the night life is good and greenery inside the campus looks very good. There is cafeteria and tuck shop open till 10 pm, sometimes till 11 pm so students hang out around these places in the night.
