Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is nice, The subjects are relevant to the industry. We do different presentations and also we have industry exposure as we go for industry vissits. the exams are trimester based. The difficulty of the exam is moderate.
Placement Experience
The college offers the placement. The placement is around 900000 CTC. The highest package goes upto 22,00,000 but that company hiers only one or two students out of the whole batch. KPMG EY UNIUQLO MARSH HYUNDAI etc come for placement. The companies do offer around 5-6 students for placements only.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees if trimester wise. total fees fot the program is 1800000 this inclludes tuition fees and hostel and mess fees. tuition fees is 1400000 Scholarships are provided upto 700000 pgdm and pgdm-ib have similar fees 1800000 pgdm ibm and pgdm rm has 1700000
Campus Life
The campus life is good. The events that are happening are great. Major fests happen like VIHAAN, REFLECTIONS, SUPERCHEF etc. The library is well equipped with resources. All the clubs and conduits are student driven. We do have introduced a new Bloomberg Lab which is helpful. A lot of sports activities are offered by BIMTECH. Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volley Ball etc.
Hostel Facilities
The rent is too much according to the facilities they provide. The rent is around 4,00,000 for two years. Juniors do get sharing rooms. Seniors however get single rooms but not boys. The hostel for boys is very bad. The mess food is good no doubt but for the campus mess only. The mess in the boys hostel is again very unhygenic.
Admission
I applied to other colleges like FORE and GIM. I gave interviews for both the colleges. But was not able to clear the shortlist ib both the colleges. I had no option but to choose BIMTECH. However I would say Fore is always better than BIMTECH. and GIM is always preffered.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is 1:60. The faculty is good and experienced. They are approachable and really helpful. The exams are of moderate difficulty. aroumd 90-92 percent clear the exam. The curriculum of the course is relevant to the industry.
Interview Experience
Yes, while taking admission here I had a personal interview and a extempore. In the interview basic HR questions were asked lik your goals, strenghts and weaknesses, introduction, why bimtech and other. My extempore topic was Globalization. I had to speak for 1 minute.
Night Life
There is no night life in this college. There are a lot of restrictions. The cafeteria closes around 11 PM. It is not good at all. Hostel timings are upto 12 am, but the campus timings is only upto 7:00 PM. The girls hostel is situated in the campus and the boys stay outside the campus.
