Alipurduar College Scholarship 2026

I pursued BA English Honours from Alipurduar college, paying only around 1300-1400/- per year which is very affordable. i also recieved the swami vivekanda scholarship of 12,000/- per year, which supported my education greatly. the college has a decent campus supportive faculty and good environment for studies.

The total course fees in my department is 10,500rs for the 4 years. The registration and admission fees are 2000rs. Exam fees are charged separately from the university. Books are needed to be bought separately. My batchmates pay the same fees. We also do get a scholarship named Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship which pays us 12,000 per year.

The amount of scholarship is 12,000 per year which includes college fees, hostel fees, books, stationery and mobile or laptop. Other than that we can also apply in other private scholarship or central scholarship if we want. My batchmates also pay the same amount of fees in all categories.

Including all the fees you have to pay around 1500 rs every semester as admission fees(if in English Hons.). And fees varies depending which course you chose. And before 1-2 months you have to pay 600 for the examination fees so you could sit in the exam. However that exam fees has been a little increased than earlier, it was around 450rs.

Since it's a government aided institution it's fees is very less as compared to private colleges and other gov aided institutions. Government provides easy scholarship like SWAMI VIVEKANANDA scholarship etc . Which helps students from poor background.

fees are 4000 per year and there no schlarship avaialable for master of science candidate and there few fees waiver for sc/st candidate . this is one the lowest tuition fees among all colleges in west bengal
