College life in G.S. campus

Likes

The friendly nature of teachers helped me in getting comfortable environment for learning.
The various co curricular activities which helped in keeping fresh mind and increase my CGPA.
Various clubs and courses which helped in developing various skills.

Dislikes

The library have less amount of books on a topic which many times became a hurdle in study.
College timings of morning 8 am has been a hassle for students who have to travel long distance.

Admission:

I only applied for this college considering the travel and other facilities. For the course I applied there was no exams before admission. You have to visit college official website and apply online then take necessary documents specified after registration to college and fill the form given by professors.

I like our College campus , which gives us more space for our entertainment.

Admission:

As G.S college of commerce and economics, Nagpur is the first college in this area providing this specification of B.Com finance and accountancy this is my main reason for choosing this college. College is well aware of course what should they add more too increase our experience for future .

It's a big campus that provides many facilities

I like the campus and the facilities available in this college it's a very old college that give us experience and many more things. And tha second reason is the faculty it's so nice they are too friendly

The Insight of My College

Likes

Discipline: GS college of commerce and economics is famous for its discipline. A good uniform with the elegant classic behaviour in college. Any misbehaviour and indiscipline is not tolerate by GS college. College has 6/4 students ratio,6 girl 4 boy
Academics: GS college is an Autonomous body so it's updated it's syllabus every year as per changing demand of the market. Various cell in the college organised different programs for different exploration of the students.
Environment: In college it's a very professional environment where you have to enhance your personality according to the job need. All the infrastructure facilities provided by the college. Placement cell grooms the students as per the job need.

Dislikes

Attendance: 75% attendance is compulsory which sometimes missed the good opportunity to explore the other things.
Canteen: Only South Indian available in canteen not any fancy food
AC : is not available for proper cooling

The GS college of commerce and economics is purely a commerce college. It's one of the oldest college in our city manage by the Bajaj group. So the goodwill of the college is very good. Online admission process help me during the COVID. It's very to get admission because of my percentage as well as the online fees payment method very ease to pay the fees.

College Uncovered - From the perspective of a Student.

Likes

The quality of students is majestic in pur college.
The faculty around our college is very supportive and friendly, especially the BBA and MBA faculties.
Our college encourages our talents aside from our studies, and promotes the extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The buildings are old, yet intact, but there should be new buildings.
The computers we use for our presentations or projects are bit outdated.
Less social interactions can be seen among students, there should be some interest clubs regarding the issue.

Admission:

I chose this college because i have heard a lot of good reviews regarding my college, and they were indeed true. The thing makes our college different is the management of our college which makes us feel like we actually belong to the college, and there's a sense of familiarity i experience everyday while entering my college.

Likes

The college provides various courses to the students.
The college has good sports facilities and equipment.
The college is at prime location of the city.

Dislikes

The compulsion of attendance even if you are pursuing professional course like CA or CS
The college premises does not have cctv facilities
The college does not have language barriers

Admission:

I have applied to various colleges like Hislop college and Ambedkar college as well as G S college, I got selected to all three colleges but then this was the college which approached to me first and hence I wasn't even aware about these colleges as I'm not from the same city.

Issue of good professor and infrastructure of building and overroll behavior
Also for placement of college is very low totolly dispoint student

Located in prime location and my nephew suggested me to take admission in this college and very low cut off college And also other college reject me for admission for low grade in exam Minimum 12th pass science commerce can take the admission oveoll cut off is 86.30 Admission exp. Is very good for me

College fests and events are prioritized.
Sports events are held every year in our college.
Campus is beautiful but not very big as other colleges.

Dislikes

Too much stress of study and projects on students.
Some teachers are very less cooperative.

Admission:

I did not applied to any other colleges because my marks were good and it was easy to take admission and there was no criteria for admission. You have to bring some documents in order to take admission and you do not have to give any interview or exam for taking admission.

Likes

They will take the exam twice a year. Best College In Nagpur for studies and cultural activities. GE Moneys stipend was 3000 p.m., and it was a very good experience to work in that company. It was a very suitable job because the job is about finance

Dislikes

Talking about placement, frankly speaking, there are not many companies that come for just 4-5 company visits and only for BPO profiles

Admission:

College does come with reservation and also provide scholarship. College starts early in morning. So travelling for distance students are hassle to them. But college does provide hostels. Specialized staffs are present to improve and to help students

Likes

I liked in this college was cleaned and well furniture.
every class room are big to easily sit in the class room.
faculty are friendly in nature to their student

Dislikes

I don't like about min 75% of attendance allowed .
I don't like that student go outside from middle of class
I don't like that not giving enough holiday after semester end

Admission:

There are minimum marks obtain is 50% to take admission, there is no return exam taken for admission,YOU CAN visit college and website to take admission form there is no application fees should take , and application dates are on website.
