The college offers three different courses under UG Programs viz. B.Com, B.Com (Computer Applications) and BBA while at PG level, the college offers M.Com and M.B.A. In addition to this, the college also offers Junior College and H.Sc. Vocational (Insurance/ Banking/ Marketing/ Salesmanship).

GS College of Commerce and Economics was established in 1948 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The college is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.

The college conducts an offline application process.
For the two-years certificate for Junior College and H.Sc. (Vocational), candidates must have passed metric from any recognised Board.
Selection to all the courses is based on merit/ cut off of the qualifying examination.
For M.B.A., the candidate must have a graduate degree in any subject from any recognised university of India.
Selection of the candidates in M.B.A. is based on CMAT.

GS College offers B.Com, B.Com (Computer Applications), and B.B.A. courses under its UG Program. The eligibility criterion to apply for any under graduate courses require the candidates to pass 10+2 standards from any recognised Board.

B.Com offered under ‘No Grant aid’ has 100 seats while the Grant-in Aid is offered in English, Hindi and Marathi with 220, 120 and 120 seats respectively.
The candidates must have completed 17-year of age as on December 31 of the academic year.

GS College of Commerce and Economics Nagpur M.Com and MBA Admission 2024

The selection of the candidate in M.Com is merit based while for MBA, the candidate has to appear for CMAT 2021. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for admission in these PG courses is to have a bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects with minimum 50% marks from any recognised university.

GS College of Commerce and Economics Nagpur Application Process 2024

GS College of Commerce and Economics conducts offline application process. However, the candidates who wish to apply for M.B.A. must register themselves for CMAT 2021 on its official website.

To apply for admission in this college, the candidates must follow the below mentioned steps.

The candidates can either download the application form from the official website under ‘Admission’ tab or obtain the same from the college campus by paying INR 15 for Grant In-Aid courses and INR 100 for No Grant courses.
Fill the application form correctly.
Attach the required documents, as listed below –
- 10^th and 10+2 mark sheet and passing certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Character certificate
- CMAT Registration, Admit Card and Score Card
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
- An affidavit on INR 100 stamp paper for domicile of Maharashtra belonging to Hindi Speaking Communities
- Three coloured passport sized photographs
- Aadhar Card

Note: The candidate must bring along the original documents along with attested photocopies for admission.

Admission:

I only applied for this college considering the travel and other facilities. For the course I applied there was no exams before admission. You have to visit college official website and apply online then take necessary documents specified after registration to college and fill the form given by professors.
