Speaking on the occasion, President Murmu praised Nagpur University's faculty for innovation and emphasised global collaboration, responsible tech use, and lifelong learning for graduates' societal impact.
New Delhi: Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University at Nagpur has successfully organised its 111th convocation on December 2, 2023. On this occasion, President Droupadi Murmu awarded degrees to the students and encouraged them by stating, "Remain curious, keep learning"
Speaking at the 111th convocation form of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Chancellor Droupadi Murmu praised the faculty for its initiative toward technology, invention and exploration.
In her speech, President Murmu called on scholars to concentrate on working on original problems with innovative results. The end goal is to produce an entrepreneurial spirit in scholars and to produce a place where new ideas can be converted into results that meet the requirements of society.
At the convocation, President Murmu talked about the evolution of technology to benefit society and its downfalls when misused. She advised against the abuse of artificial intelligence. She emphasised the need for ethics as a practice to address the ethical counter accusations of advances in technology.
In her communication with graduate scholars, President Murmu said that graduating isn't the end of education but the morning. It encourages them to be curious and to be committed to lifelong literacy, especially in a fleetly changing world.
Talking about the important role of scholars as a means for the nation and society, she advised them to face challenges with knowledge, tone- confidence and confidence in their capacities.
