Dhsk commerce college from the perspective of a student

Likes

i liked the college drinking facilities and it has a good parking area
it has commom room for both girl n boys where we can chill in our free time it also had some indoor games there like carriom chees etc

Dislikes

i dislike the auditorium as it was too old and was in the upper floor
I personallly dislike the small space as it has no playground
it has hostel for girls in affordable price but not for boys

Course Curriculum Overview:

from a small age i was intrested in this college and wanted to study commerce .So in assam DHSK Commerce College is a very popular name thats why i wanted to study there.for real world experience they dont teach anything about that.and for improvement they should add more practical classes and teach us from books more than a projector .If it will be a normal exam then the timing is 1 hour naximum n if it is final it will be 3 hours

I would say its not the best but a good college in Dibrugarh

The college has good infrastructure with A.C in rooms

I like the campus as it is very neat and clean, dustbins are arranged in the campus to maintain its tidyness.
The college doesn't appreciate ragging. So new comers doesn't face any sort of uncomfortable ity
The toilets of the college are also maintain properly

The professors are very kind and helpful.
The college supports extracurricular activities

Very small campus which creates no excitement.
Office members are procastinators which is not good.

I have chosen this course because I want to go into business line. There are a total of 35 teachers. They teach in a proper manner and help us a lot with their knowledge. Two sessional exams are conducted and gap between both sessional exams is one month. It's not quite hard to pass the exam. Everything taught in the class comes in the exam.

The most thing I like is the college campus.

The course I choose is Bachelor of commerce ie, B.com (honours)I choose this course because I want to become a company secretary. The faculty members are so supportive and caring to the students. There are two shifts day and morning because there are so many students. All faculty members are qualified. To complete per semester it took 6 months. The exam is not much tough you should study at least 3-4 hours a day.
