Us they conduct events and farewell party, that time we enjoyed alot, also college provide clube for to participate in national level compititions and library is provided in every campus, maintenance is good, tech fest & anunnal fests are common
Campus life in walchand is pretty cool, as the campus is huge you can sit in any corner of the college and feel the pleasure.
I choose to do these course because these is the best course for the computer department and the computer field there is the best college for computer-related field and interest for their students.

Dislikes

The hostel mess is very bad . The rooms are are not much good.
Teachers are also not so good atleast in first year because everyone has to study by their own because teachers were not so helpful towards students
The college canteen is not good ,means now canteen is shut off.

Life at WCE SANGLI

92 acres of green campus, Availability of WIFI everywhere in the campus (good speed), RO water facility in Complete campus area, 24*7 study room for boys with all necessary facilities, study room for girls 6AM to 9PM, cooperative faculties,
Gym with number of exercise machines for both girls and boys (separate)
IEEE for encouraging startups and innovative ideas of students.

Dislikes

Strict 75% above attendance criteria, very strict in academics.

Campus Placements are available in my college and probably students get it in third year (i. e. 5th or 6th semester). Most of the students gets placed in the company where they worked as intern. Which is PPO(pre placement offer). Companies visits to our college for placements are Seimens, Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, TATA, Mahindra, Snider and many more. Highest package offered till date is 52LPA. 80% students gets placed on campus. My plan after degree is to work as employ & then start own startup.

I like our staffs faculty is very experience and expertise in their subject
In our college quality of the infrastructure is very nice
College campus is very good for survival

I don't like college timing this college time I feel like I am going like school
I don't like college girls hostel which is not safe and clean for girls
Our college in forest area so does not available any bus or autoricshaw

Campus is really good at all . Good environment.
Library is the best thing in this college.
There are many technical and non technical clubs

Dislikes

Hostel facility is not good , bad washrooms.
College not supports art and sport more likely
Some faculty is not teaching well, they just cover syllabus.

In the 7th semister students are ready to place. Most of students get on campus placement. Google, microsoft, Amazon like companies enter in the campus. Other student get off campus placement and some complete their masters. My plan after degree is to get place

Review: Walchand College of Engineering

The things I liked are the club culture and the interaction between seniors and juniors. Being the president of a club in past I actually experienced all the doubts and issues of my students. They were very open about it and always came to seniors
Another thing are the lectures, teachers and the technology that is used to teach the students. There are VR gadegts, smart boards, projects, dedicated labs, equipments and all the other things that are required is already present at the campus
It has a huge campus around 90 acers. There are ground facilities, gym, open gym, a place to play games, canteens and other facilities. Along with that the girl to boy ratio is actually completly normal and tends to 1 I suppose

Dislikes

The thing I dislike the most is the non teaching staff, the scholarship department, management and all the other things related to that. No work is done on time and everyone has to just go there for 3-4 days for the smallest job possible.
The mess food is the worst you can get even after paying like 2800 for a month, there is no proper seating arrangement, even though there are 2 builings for mess, only one is being used and there is a lot of congestion in that place
The behaviour of some faculties is really bad for students

Placement Experience:

The placement is pretty good but slow this year compared to last year. There are some really good packages offered by companies and some good development opportunities are also there. Average package for this year being aroung 8-9 lpa and highest offer on campus being 20lpa and offcampus of 52lpa

I like things about my college are the campus which is really biggest campus in Sangli.
the rules and strictness followed by every faculty.
cleanliness and friendly behaviour of each faculty.

Dislikes

this college is more strict than other colleges.
non cultural programs are not celebrated by college
students are coming more and more in each year.

Placements are really effective part for the students in WCE Sangli because the all placements are offfered by many big companies. which is really a good thing about this college, college supports also for the other services than only the placements for each student.

I really like the Facilities here like library, study room.
And the campus area is about 90 acres which is really vast.
Furthermore our college most likely senior arranges events for us like asg which is like gathering and sports also which includes kho-kho, running etc.

Dislikes

Faculty i guess. They i don't think teach good most of the things we have to cober by ourselves
Mess is not that good either. Warden rector didn't support that much.
Timetable is from 8 to 5:30 we send most of the times in college didn't get enough time for self study

Walchand college of engineering, sangli.

Likes

The college culture is good, seniors are good, you get opportunities which I guess many few colleges offer.
Faculty is good but they can do better, their teaching methods are okay.
College has a huge campus, one of the most beautiful library in Asia, study rooms for studying.

Dislikes

Some faculties, their paper checking system.
Hostel rules and regulations for girls which have became even worse now.
The college resides in Sangli so it doesn't have that exposure to city companies only a few top visit.

Placement Experience:

Our college has good placement rates. From 7th semester they can sit for placements. Many students have landed in microsoft, google, deutsche bank, goldman sachs, etc. Our college has Semeins, Reliance,etc

Badminton Court is the best part of my college for me
Library is very good as it has many books
Classrooms are fine but it is definetely astonishing.

The governance of my college is very partial
The students over here mainly dont know how to converse in hindi/english

walchand has Very good Campus also it has friendly atmosphere
the 1st liked thing about walchand is their placements
events in college and also their are so many clubs for persinal growth

Dislikes

Mechanical Faculty is very rude and not good at all
Girls Hostel Timing restriction is most unliked thing
college do not support to girls in sports in many cases but they also support us many Times

They should replace the teachers who are about to retire. otherwise they teach well also exams timings are good, but need more practical .
