Students and alumni claim that SKIT is an average college. SKIT Jaipur's average package is around INR 4 LPA to INR 7 LPA, and it is limited only to IT aspirants. Coming to its fest and cultural activities, it is subpar and nothing special. One is not allowed to leave campus if they have entered once. They are only allowed after the shift ends. At least 60% attendance is required to sit in exams, and only in the 4th year, you will be allowed relaxation. You have to wear uniforms; even the tie and shoes can be checked, and one can be denied entry based on that. Their guards are very difficult to deal with, as well.

According to our research, students suggest that you should prefer to go to JECRC. SKIT is not a college; it is like a school, where you will get trained but will not be able to learn any new things. You will just go to college, attend classes, and then return to home. You will learn nothing special. SKIT grants no holidays, even on government holidays. JECRC does not have many restrictions on attendance or bunks. This helps you to participate in various college activities. There is no dress code. Here, you can also join several college groups that will nurture your personality. And after four years you will see yourself with a different personality. Academics are like every other college, the course is based on RTU.

One can reach SKIT by the following means:Airport: The institute is located just 20 minutes away from the airport.Railway Station: The institute is located approximately 15 km from the station and it may take up to 40 minutes travelling to the institute by a cab. Other suitable railway stations to use in Jaipur include Gandhinagar station that reduces the distance by a good 5 km and the onward travel time by 20 minutes. Jagatpura railway station is the closest to the institute at just 5 km.Bus: If you are travelling by a bus to the institute, one could take the bus No. 8 from Balaji turning in Malviya Nagar onto the Jagatpura road. The last mile connectivity is provided by tempos and auto rickshaws that ply in abundance from the Jagatpura road to the institute. Shared cabs are also available.

So if you have average grades, no backlogs and average communication skills it's likely that you will get placed right after college. The initial package will depend upon your academics and skills and how you prepare. Although on-campus placements provide good opportunities, one must keep an eye out for off-campus placements as well.
