Life at SKCT

Good staffs that ready to help you always.
Infrastructure was really good. amd had a nice experience
had chill climate and nice environment through out the year

Dislikes

Had very less core. company placement as most of the companies came for interview were it companies
Always try to get momey from us like placements fee exam fee etc
Even though had 90000rs hostel fee they did not provide non veg in hostel

Placement Experience:

Mostly from 5th sem students can attend placements. Lots of companies like tcs cts amazon etc from product baset to service baaed and some core mechanical electrical and civil companies. more than 200 companies and 2500 offers were given. average package was around 4 to 4.5laks and highest salary was 42 lpa in amazon. on my batch ariund 98 percent got placements. i joined tcs after college

College life

Likes

The clg is built in good manner and climate is very comfortable
The staff are friendly sometimes and they have different campus for arts and science
They totally three libraries and we can even take the books to home and return it back with the due time

Dislikes

No cultural, no festival celebration is done
The hostel is very high and they serve veg food
There is a certain dress code which is unreasonable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teacher is very friendly and well educated and they help in all the situations and the teaching method is done with the help of white board that is the smart board , no chalk will be used , and it is very good

It is good and decent college to get into.

Likes

The location of the college which between the mountains makes the place look beautiful and also the climatic conditions and weather there is so pleasing.
They encourage you to attend many hackathons and events conducted in other colleges also.
The placement service provided is very good until you use it wisely.

Dislikes

The college does have any culturals and fests which is conducted so rare so you may not expect too much of entertainments.
There are no frequent bus facilities and you should also walk for 1 km to the nearest bus stop where buses are available only at particular timings

Placement Experience:

The campus placements starts from the 6 th semester . Top companies like Amazon,Accenture , ibm , Infosys , TCS , cognizant etc.. are the recruiters of this college. The highest package offered is like 18 LPA and 44 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is approximately 80 percentage.

SKCT-THE TRUTH

The college ambiance is unmatched. Whenever I visit a new college, I've always felt that even though my college itself isnt better, but the looks and scenes definitely are.
Climate is very good. Although unpredictable, it has its days and those days are amazing.

Dislikes

Management is worst. Im from Chennai and all holidays are announced at the last minute. I'm barely able to book tickets.
Staff are below par. Some admit that they know nothing on that topic.

Placement Experience:

Placements are very decent. Given that this year is really slow for placements across all colleges, you can't expect much. But it is one of the top placements across coimbatore. If placements are your main goal tho, I would recommend choosing whatever course you get in a top tier college like VIT, BITS etc. Thats a mistake I made.

College surroundinf was good and nature was nice
In my college climate like ooty whether its clg or ooty

Environment is very good the nature is refreshing
SOMETIMES the clg is fun but alot of workload and stress
Coding knowledge is applicable to every course it is must no matter which course you choose in engineering

Dislikes

Sometimes they can be very strict and targeting.
Sometimes they can be biased and things.
Sometimes we dont get enough phone signals in certain places , ventilations and all

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in our clg . Mostly 70% get placed atleast thats what i know. Placement trainings being during 3rd year which is very helpful they also add aptitude to our mandatory clurse to give extra help they also give training for our communications and collaborations. My college stated 44lpa is highest package but only 1 or 2 will be selected for it. A lot of company offers placement opportunity though decent companies

Likes

Class room atmosphere, Faculties and the labs provided.
The experience of the hands on traing given by the staffs

Dislikes

The timing is long in Sri Krishna college of technology
The project batch is not our choice and that is decided by mark.

Placement Experience:

It provides upto 85 to 90 percentage of placements results every year and the companies arrive at the campus are not basic companies all are standard companies which handle every high MNC companies and the training for placement will be too intresting

My thoughts about my college

Likes

Good infrastructure and climate, well maintenance.
modern classrooms, spacious and consist digital boards and projector
good hostel facilities, green surronding, big ground

Dislikes

poor lab facilities, few equipment only properly working
few staff are well experienced and knowledge
no industrial visit, few events only conduct

Placement Experience:

In 5 th semester ending the placement will start, mostly IT company will come. Very few company only come for core jobs. minimum package will start 1.5LPA, and maximum package is 20LPA. The intern you will get 40LPA only one student after 2 months the intern complete. mostly below 4 or 4.5 LPA job only come lot. The placement selection will be combined with SKCT & SKCET college.

Placement trainings are given at most very nice
Teaching will be very good and the faculty are good
Faculty are friendly and their guidings will help

Dislikes

Sometimes the management will be very strict
The college does not have any industrial visit
