What is an honest review of SSTC Bhilai?

As per our research, alumni report that these Shankara Group of colleges are merely a way of earning money and to fill the owners pockets.They do not put any effort into enriching the knowledge of students. Most alumni claim they can bet that 99% of students remain jobless after getting their degrees. Most of them opt for software firms or prepare for GATE and a fraction of students for GRE or MBA. The faculty and staff are very poor. Those who have good knowledge do not want to teach because they are getting paid, anyway. No encouragement from college for participation in national events. If students are interested then they have to do it themselves. The laboratory facilities are worse. We couldn't even call them labs. During the third year, most of the lab periods were converted into lecture classes just because completing the course is more important than getting practical knowledge.

Which is better, SSTC Bhilai or BIT Raipur?

Although both are good for engineering, students and alumni recommend eligible candidates to join BIT Raipur and not SSTC Bhilai. Most CGPET toppers prefer joining BIT over SSTC. Although it ranks lower than NIT Raipur, BIT Raipur is preferred for its overall reputation, experienced faculty, and more avenues for research & development.

What are the SSTC Bhilai hostel facilities like, for girls?

Female students at SSTC Bhilai claim that SSTC Bhilai hostel facilities are good. The rooms are clean, bed, table, chair, almirah, washing machine, and washers are available. The meals offered are decent. Without registration, outsiders are not allowed to enter the hostel. This is helpful for the safety & security of girls.

What is an honest review of SSTC Bhilai placements?

Students and alumni claim that SSTC Bhilai believes in spreading fake propaganda about their placement records. For instance, if they are showing 100 placements, it means there were only 10 placements. They keep students busy in attending Campus preparation classes and fool them, saying that they will get good placements. The college has a low placement record. Most of the time they outsource their placement preparations and that does affect your regular studies. Companies do arrive on campus but packages offered are too low and that too for call centre profiles. Companies come for CSE but mostly selected students are from Electronics and college does nothing to avoid that. They have Student Assistance Cell and Placement Assistance Cell where some talented students from each class are selected and they are being trained as waiters in the name of personality development. These students are made to miss their classes so that they carry a Tea Tray and Breakfast for the college guests. Overall, if you want to get a good job then better you get admitted in any college in Maharashtra or Delhi instead of choosing any college in Chhattisgarh.

Personal service of this college for B.Tech is 40000 and yearly it's 80000 so I procks it's the course of 3 lakh 20000 of 4 years. Also there is approximately 1500 exam fees for every semester which is not included. As I belong to general category so I don't have any idea for other categories. And college also provides internship and you can also opt internship which are not provided by the college so you have good options.

Exams marking system is not that good due to this few students got failed.
Extra curriculum is missing in the course.

The fee structure is the same for all the courses in the BTech degree. It is 80000/- per year, which means 40000/- per semester. The scholarship is provided by the government body. Obc Children get around 20000 rs scholarships per yearand sc/ST students get around 30-40000 rs per year
