I am very thankful to SAKEC college and greatful to be a student of them

Likes

I like the faculties of my college as they are sonmuch supportive and good to us
Our college provide a great availability for our study like labs library
The course is also helpful providing proper industry knowledge

Dislikes

The washrooms of the college are not clean properly
Fees is too much as a middle class for me
Marking system should be improved for easy exam

I want to go to sardar vallabhbhai patel college but I dint get short listed by them so I have to take the admission over here Yes I got a rejection due to my less percentage The admission process was done through online mode cap process and the cutoffs at my time was 94-96

Honest Experience of SAKEC CHEMBUR MUMBAI

Likes

1. Circulum of the college is industry ready college has good lab facilities like exploration lab course teaching students practical skills of electronic.
2. We have many courses such as yoga and sports to keep mind on students stress free in this stressful course
3. Digitilazed system even for collecting assignment like collecting in ms teams

Dislikes

1. Too small campus size and limited available space in campus.
2. Faculty r not so great u will feel bored many don't even know how to speak in english . No experience in teaching
3. Not so great teaching group and many don't even hold a PhD u can't think of research in this college is poor . Average placement

Admission:

I had many options for choosing colleges in Mumbai but I chose this because I was offered a TFWS seat for this branch and one more is reason is good reviews by previous student of this college on platform like reddit and quora.

Each student is the future of this country and college is just stepping stone of it.

Likes

The cleanliness, the quality and moving forward to give quality education but some negative things like on first floor account management don't give proper answer and restrict students to meet principal directly.
Mine is getting day by day interactive and I believe into have good networking more to grab Idea and mindset
The teachers are very much supportive and willing cooperative to provide and deliver quality education to use

Dislikes

The thing that disappointed me was they unnecessary restricting me to wear my kara in hand and it was because they were worried that I will harm to other and same week fight took place of other students with that.
The try to stop you directly to meet principal Dr.Bhavesh Patel for any fees related installments which I am not able to pay and I am trying to get scholarship of certain amount.
There are some certain stupid rules which every students have to follow

Admission:

So basically i believe that if the college is close less time and money will be diluted and after 12th exam we have to give CET exam and through that score we get admission at Engineering college at Maharashtra and by JEE we get All over india, i apply at Near by best engineering college at first VJTI, DJ sanghavi etc.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Likes

Quality of education is good since the college is autonomous
The college has a strong coding culture and the clubs are very good
The college is fest is one of a kind its amazing

Dislikes

The campus is very small not much space available
The classrooms lack air conditioning so it can get hot sometimes
The college ground as not attached to the college so its very less used

Admission:

I chose this college as it has a high Return On Investment as the fees is very less as compared to the packages offered . Other Colleges were charging a very high fees with low or same ROI . No I did not apply to many colleges only a few , this was nearest to my home so i chose this . the admission process is quite simple you need to get a good grade in jee or cet as there are no direct admission . The cutoffs are increasing every year , the admission experience was smooth

4years of roller coaster ride

Likes

faculties interaction specifically of IT department has been wonderful. their teaching methods, mentorship techniques & time every mentor has given to each and every mentee has been so helpful.
Placements opportunities have been so good. so many students have gotten placed perfectly.
the opportunities students get to initiate their skills, talents into different clubs, organization, internships, fests have been outstanding.

Dislikes

The canteen service could be more organized, varities could have been there.
classrooms should have been properly setted which unfortunately arent. dull wall colors.

Admission:

I choose shah and anchor kutchhi engineering college over the other options as it is one of the well known college in mumbai also after the consideration of various factors such as academic reputation, location, faculty, placement support. SAKEC offered right the right balance of traditional strenghts and modern opportunities that aligned with my goals. It is well established with NAAC A grade.

The infrastructure is quiet decent for the college
The canteen is small but still good enough
The college also has indore sports and gymkhana

Dislikes

The college has no outdoor recreation area
The college has only one building the other one is being built
Most of the labs have best systems but some are outdated

Admission:

I had applied for somaiya but cancelled my admission due to the very high fees and less return on investment compared to my current college our college takes admission based on mhcet scores and has a different cutoff for every branch

College Life at SAKEC

Likes

College focuses more on technical aspects rather than bookish knowledge. Conducts workshops and courses to help students discover new skills and develop their interests.
Teachers are friendly, supportive and encouraging students. They help us complete certification courses and develop our skillset.
Provide internships right from first year.Tho not paying but it develops a strong cv and help us get ready for future.

Dislikes

The college has almost no campus. With only a building in vicinity and ground seperately, it makes college fest events congested.
The canteen has nice appearance but food is not so great. Tho college is taking efforts to improve the food quality.
They charge you for everything. Events have registration fees, some events which need white shirt needs seperate fees. It does get costly.

Admission:

I applied to Vidyalankar Institute of Technology,Mumbai , VESIT, DJ Sanghvi, in computer engineering, IT, AIDS etc. I couldnt get through in VESIT or DJ Sanghvi, since I had only 96 percentile in cet. However I was admitted to VIT, still i chose SAKEC because it is near to my home and it has comparitively safer locality. Addmission process is same what you follow in any other college in cet. You need to score atleast 94 in mht cet to get into computer engineering in SAKEC. you can even get through jee mains. Tho cet is most preferred by studdents. The addmission process was smooth with all staff and faculty ready to help us.

The only review to check for SHAH AND ANCHOR KUTCHI ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Likes

The first is the ease of education and study material every faculty is friendly and well educated
Second is the amount of competition and hackathon organized by college for developing new skills and encourage students to compete
Third would be availablity of well equipped labs and structure

Dislikes

The classrooms and not air conditioned equipped only the labs are
There is not very ample seating in the canteen

Admission:

I had applied for vartak college too but the faculty and the placement opportunities were not quite that well The second option was thakur college but they doesn't provide admission without bribe No I didn't faced any rejection from any college because I got admission in my present college on the 1 round list The addmission process is quite simple you can get admit by attempting for MHT CET or JEE the most preferred exam would be MHT CET Because 90%of students get admitted through that exam

One wrong decision regretting whole life ????

The college is not so strict and lenient
There is no chaos related to attendance like if below 75 ull need to write punishment assignment
As now its autonomous looking forward in the improvement in the placement etc

Dislikes

Extremely small campus like only a building of 7 floor which is for all 4 yr students
There is no playground nearby playground is also in the name of government
Nearby area is occupied by slums making it smelly

Admission:

See this colg was my last option in the list the colg i preffered was vesit the reason of vesit was there were multiple relatives of mine and had experience about the same colg But due to high cutoff i had to choose this one The admission process was smooth and easy

Brief description of SAKEC

Likes

Excellent management staff, good infrastructure, good classrooms and labs, majority of the teaching staff is well qualified and supportive, non-teaching staffs are also well qualified and helpful, good boys to girls ratio, studenti intake is good
Alumni network is good, Teachers inspire students to do curricular as well as non curricular tasks, Good changes after autonomy in syllabus and no physical assignments to write

Dislikes

Hectic schedules during working days, marking scheme not that good
Placements and internships not that good

Admission:

On the list of colleges, I guess Shah & Anchor Kutchi Engineering College stands way ahead of clgs like BVCOE, A.C. Patil College of Engineering, Terna Engineering College, Atharva College of Engineering, Saraswati College of Engineering. I chose this college as it's location is good and ROI is also good. In my opinion SAKEC comes after VESIT, VIT but better than rest colleges of Mumbai in the mid category after VJTI, SPIT, ICT. Though cutoff of Shah & Anchor Kutchi Engineering College is increased from this year probably due to Autonomy.
