Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management (SCEM) Mangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for campus placements only from their 7th sem. Usually 200+ companies visit our college with offer of 900+. Almost 80 to 85 percentage of students get placed since the recession is on phase the rate is normal. My plan is to enter a semiconductor insustry after my degree.

From the 6th semester end you will be able to apply for placements. There are nearly 200+ companies visiting campus which includes some Japan companies as well and companies like Deloite, Infosys, Accenture, MRI, Galaxy, SafeSend, IBM etc. highest is 43 LPA and average is 3 LPA. Nearly 60 percent have got placed this year. Joining a company for the role of Data Analyist.

Placement here in this college is good compared to other colleges in this region. Recent campus drive Some CSE students acquired packages of 43LPA in a japan companies ISE students acquired packages of 34 LPA in IPEX And many more companies with average package of 3 LPA

The curriculum activities are going well the teachers are very cooperative the students they are teaching very well to the student the HD of the first year department is very good he is so cooperative the students and the exams are conducted with the time to time with very benefit questions that time to time we are raising the exams and the portions are completed time to time and the same exam is conducted very neatly and students are scoring very good marks Exam are conducted as the students level they are not giving too much tough questions are easy question they are giving the student friend request and the correction is also done very neatly

The curriculum is pretty good but the faculty teaching needs to be improved. The subjects help a lot in placements but they need to be delivered correctly for it to benefit us . The subjects need to be known properly.

Placements are good if you compare to any other 3rd tire college many companies nearly 150 companies visit college every year regularly. From 7th semester students will be eligible to attend campus placements. Companies like Google, cohesity , galaxy solutions and many other companies visit the campus. Good percentage af students is getting placed every year. Before getting degree need to get a job ????

I was influenced by friends to take this course i find it difficult sometimes but it is manageable Right the amount of syllabus is about correctly well balanced than before And the faculties are teaching there subjects well

Compared to other colleges in manglore sahyadri has good placements Placements starts from 6th semester The highest package recived was 44 lakh per annum Lowest is 3lakh per annum Some says that after placement many didn't get call for job

•i wanted to get into mechanical field and this college has one of the best records for the placements in mechanical field. •i helped me alot from having hands on experience and using it in my work place. •being in mechanical field it requires more of hands on experience than the class room theory . • same timmings given to all the subjects

Placements is not so good because its a tier 3 college. If you want the good placement like more than 30 lacs or above that then keep on looking in other web portals or some other platmors also. if you are happy with the 10lac then its okay then no problem
