For 2022 batch the Fees per semester is 1,23,000 and Mess charges is 20,000. For the next year addmissions the fees is increased by 5,000. The SC,ST category fees is 98,000 and mess charges is same for all. Merit cum is provided to top 3 students per branch , they get 25,000 off on the fees.

An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

Yearly total fees (tution+ hostel & mess) for gen/ews/obc is 2.8 lakh per annum. For SC/ST it is 2.3 lakh per annum. Fees for Other CSE students is almost same. If your income is below 3 lakh and your are from up , you get up scholarship of 64k per year. If you are SC/ST then you get scholarship of 93k per annum from up govt only if your domacile is up. College has one special scholarship which is McM scholarship for only those whos family income is below 8 lakh and falls in ews/ewc and have scored cpi above 8. I am getting this scholarship since my first year. The amount is 50k per year. Apart from this , this college is very expensive and has less ROI.

RGIPT : An underrated college

Total fees of my branch in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology per year is around 329000 which includes tuition fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other charges.

Fees is for 1st semester it is 1,51,500 including hostels but fir mess 20,000 more is required. And add 1000 for idd students in the fees. And from 2nd semester fees is 1,36,500 and 20000 for mess . Scholarship is for meritorious students (top 10% of batch). And fee waiver for sc/st students. Other than these bank loans are available for free payments.

The year wise acedmic fees for btech is 128500.The mess fees is 20000. Sc,st,pwd have to pay 103500 as acedmic fees. The different scholarships available are nsp scholarship, up state scholarship,reliance sholarship,hdfc scholarship. College have its own merit cum scholarship of 50000 per year.

Reality check of RGIPT

Fees is quite high for the facilities provided .

The tution fees is 123300 per sem for gen and obc and its 98300 for sc and st. Mess fees is taken 20000 in advance in starting of every semester and billed at year end. Tution and mess fees is taken per sem. caution money ( 5000), admission fees, development fees,etc are taken once at the time of admission. Only one scholarship is provided by the college which is merit cum scholarship based on the performance.

Year-wise I pay is ?3,03,000 with my tutuon fees being ?2,43,000 and my mess fee being ?20,000 per semester and my hostel fees being ?10,000 per semester. My classmates with sc/st category do not get much scholarship

The tuition fees is 1,36,000 per semester while the admission fees is 10000, registration fees is 10000 and the caution money is 5000.
