Campus atmosphere and infrastructure ....
Sports infrastructure is very good especially the cricket ground.
Supporting faculty and staffs...........

Dislikes

Though the sports infrastructure is excellent,but I don't think they encourage sports too much.l

Admission:

First of all brand name Rajagiri is quiet famous. The infrastructure is awesome and as I told earlier due to FW category,I not need to pay the tuition fees. Eligibility is basically KEAM exam and plus 2 result.

The infrastructure, the labs, the teachers
The atmosphere is very pleasant very green
The staff is very good and they teach well

Dislikes

Too strict at times regarding attendance
Staff in general is very strict sometimes for no reason other

Admission:

I chose this college for easiness and good infrastructure and the staff seem very nice. Also, the atmosphere of the college is also very very very nice. Overall infrastructure is also very nice. The principal is also very smart.

One of the main things is the emphasis on academic excellence
State of the art infrastructure along with top equipments
Vibrant campus life and extracurricular activities

Heavy academic workload and deadlines that students cant keep up with
The Cmi management is too strict and doesnt allow for fun
Limited internship and industry exposure

Admission:

The college is in a prime location in the heart of kochi. It has easy access to all emergency services and to the town in general. It is a famous college known for its reputation and legacy. It is also alumini rich college where lots of famous personalities has graduated from. Admission process is mainly through the entrance exams like keam. It also quota for Christian minority groups and lower castes

The best atmosphere. Well maintained gardens.
Good lab. The lab facilities are better when compared to other colleges.
Good ground. The play grounds are big enough.

Fests. All the fests are held only for one or 2 days.

A Rajagiri Story

Likes

One thing I really appreciate about Rajagiri is the quality of teaching. The faculty here know their stuff and are always ready to help. They focus on making sure we understand the concepts and don’t just mug up for exams.
The campus life at Rajagiri is vibrant and fun. There’s always something happening—technical fests, hackathons, debates, and even cultural programs. Joining clubs like SAE and participating in events has been one of the best parts for me.
well-equipped labs, a spacious library, and peaceful areas to study or just chill. The placement team also does a great job. They organize workshops, mock interviews, and keep us prepared for placements. I’ve seen many seniors land solid jobs.

Dislikes

The academic workload during exams can be pretty overwhelming. With assignments, internals, and exams all piling up at once, it gets hard to focus on actually learning. A bit more breathing room between deadlines would help balance things better and
Parking on campus is a hassle. There just aren’t enough spaces for the number of students and faculty, and it gets chaotic, especially during events
The ongoing metro construction near the campus causes heavy traffic during peak hours. It’s a bit of a headache, especially for those driving to college.

Admission:

None, except for CUSAT, i didn't get selected. I chose management seat via keam entrance exam. There is no cutoff, just need to pass keam and have decent score in 11&12th boards. Admission experience was extremely smooth

My college life

Likes

The overall environment of our college is soo pleasing and pleasant
The staffs and teachers are very supportive and are willing to help us
The laboratories are well equipped and the curriculum is pretty new

Dislikes

The college is very strict and will punish the students violating them
The marking scheme of the college is really boring
Placements are not as much as they promised

Admission:

1) I applied to tkm college of engineering and saintgits College of engineering before taking admission at Rajagiri School of engineering and technology. My admission was confirmed at Tkm College of engineering, but for the Civil department. But I don't like she will so I choose electrical at Rajagiri. There is no specific reason of choosing Rajagiri over these other colleges but as the area this college is situated is very good so I choose this 2) yeah I got rejections from Saintgits College of engineering iopted for robotics and automation course but seats were filled so I didn't get a seat for robotic set automation at saintgits college 3) the admission process of our college is pretty simple either if you crack the keam exam , if your rank is below 25000 you could get it seat at our college. But the criteria changes for computer science course as many students apply for the same the cutoff is bey higher. NRI students can also get admission at our college by paying some amount of money to the college in order to confirm your seat. According to my experience the admission process was easy

Experience of a Mechanical student at Rajagiri school of engineering and technology

Overall infrastructure of the campus is really great, I was a mechanical engineering student so the labs related to my course were really good. The labs had variety of machines, engines and experimental setup needed for practicals.
Professor's are really knowledgeable and helpful. Most of them were really friendly towards students.
Sports facilities such as football turf and cricket ground are good. Although students can't use the cricket ground

Dislikes

Overall attitude of teachers towards students is not good. Especially branches other than mechanical.
Some teachers used to keep personal grudge with students and deliberately reduce their internal marks.

I have applied for multiple colleges but my first option was always Rajagiri school of engineering and technology. I have joined that place because it has a good reputation in kerala. It was known for its state of the art teaching and lab facilities. Also the pass percentage and rank holders numbers are in the top 3 among private colleges.

RSET- is it worth all your parents' money?

Likes

The facilities were great which includes the infrastructure, lab, canteen, and classrooms.
The location is just perfectly accessible and not so remote. Peaceful ambience is also a highlight.
Since the college is autonomous, the publishing of results and the conduct of examinations are very quick and convenient. Placement percentage is very high compared to other colleges. Even mechanical engineering has almost 50 percent students placed.

Dislikes

Sometimes I feel that the faculty members are a bit too strict.
Some of the teachers are well qualified on paper but are unable to share their knowledge properly to students.
I didn't feel that my skill developed so much when it comes to engineering. It's the problem of the course more than the college. I have gained more theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge.

Admission:

I wrote the KEAM examination and my admission to this college was based on my KEAM rank. My rank was 26362 so I couldn't get into any of the government colleges. In the first allotment I got SCMS and in the second one, I got FISAT. It was the third allotment in which I got admission to RSET.

Glass Bridges offer easy access between buildings
Some Teachers offer their time and effort in bettering the learning capacities of students.

Dislikes

No coordination from the teachers for any events.
Strict and very in orderly behaviour of teachers.
Management acts as a dictatorship and does moral policing.

Admission:

I came to know of this college through online portals and referrals by students. I didn't have to write any admission exams provider by Rajagiri as I had enrolled through the Keam Allotment Process. The course preferred by most students is BTech in CSE.

Campus is really nice and large especially since it contains 3 different college , there is also farm and animals including a white horse
Studies wise teachers are all highly educated,all are nice and helpful and approachable anytime,since college is a autonomous exam dates and portions are more lenient and understandable

Dislikes

Event and activities are low because participation is low ,people here prefer to go home and rest rather than going for events but that doesn't mean events aren't there,especially since we are needed to fulfill the activity points requirement
Low amounts of girls,the ratio for boys to girls are like 6:4 ,they vary in different department tho but most classes have boys as majority,mechanical department 3rd year has only 6 girls in a class so it's very variable
Anything related to attendance and marks aren't lenient and everything is very strict

Actually this is the first and only college i applied for ,this colleges curriculum intrested me so much that I was determined to get admission here Here the admission is straightforward,there is a interview and documents submission and the most preferred course here currently is Computer science, They accept all official exams accepted in India and since I was cbse I didn't have any issues
