Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. The highest package at offer the tower college way up to 30 lakhs per annum If you are willing to sit for the placements many of the students could easily get placement about 80% My plans after getting degree is either doing some job and gaining some work experience for planning to go for higher studies

Since the college is autonomous, the publishing of results and the conduct of examinations are very quick and convenient. Placement percentage is very high compared to other colleges. Even mechanical engineering has almost 50 percent students placed.

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for campus placements from sixth semester onwards. In my case, i attended 4 interviews and got placed in Amphenol Communication Solutions finally. Highest package for mechanical engineering students: 6LPA ( Alstom).Average package: 3LPA Almost 50 percent students got placed from mechanical batch.

Which is better in terms of placements, SCT Trivandrum or a private college like Rajagiri, FISAT or SCMS?

It entirely depends on the branch that you are choosing. If you go for CSE then all the colleges SCT, RAJAGIRI, FISAT, SCMS have good placements opportunities. But in the case of other branches, Kerala colleges have a low level of placement except for NITs and IITs.

Good placements are available only for software firms and not for your core jobs. All the colleges above are good and will help you to attain the skills required for different jobs.

And everything depends on you how much effort you will give to your course so that you can obtain experience as well as knowledge so that you can get a good job apart from your college placements
