I need to pay only the special fees that is 10000per year as I comes under FW (fee waiver) category. But the actual fees including tuition fees and special fees is 85000 per year. Though I come in FW category, studying btech at small amount in a campus like Rajagiri is very nice.

For government merit students the fees is 85k yearly and a donation of 1 lakh during admission. For SC,ST students there are fees concessions. Also there are no extra fee for lab and all, these are included in the 85k. Other than that there is a fee for exam registration paid to the university.

RSET- is it worth all your parents' money?

Likes

Since the college is autonomous, the publishing of results and the conduct of examinations are very quick and convenient. Placement percentage is very high compared to other colleges. Even mechanical engineering has almost 50 percent students placed.

Dislikes

I didn't feel that my skill developed so much when it comes to engineering. It's the problem of the course more than the college. I have gained more theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge.

Fees per year for general category students: Rs 87000 Now it has been increased to Rs 105000(my sister is studying there now) Hostel fees: Rs 1 lakh per year( girls hostel) Caution deposit: Rs 10000( will be refunded on successful course completion) Fixed deposit: Rs 100000( refundable) SC/ST category fees: Rs 10000 per year( my friend had the same fee) General fee is the same for college merit and government merit. No extra lab fees( 110 Rs per book for record books)

Assignment workload is very high, could be hard if you're not punctual

I paid a sum of 1,98,000rs in the beginning for the management seat where the 1,00,000 rs is a deposit which will be returned after completion of the course. The fee from the second year onwards has been an average of 84,000rs. The Scholarships are provided based on merits.
