Admission to Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) is primarily merit-based, determined through the KEAM entrance exam, which consists of two papers: Physics and Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is divided equally between government and management quotas, with distinct fee structures for NRI admissions under the management quota. The admission process combines KEAM ranks with 12th-grade marks. The college faculty are highly qualified, with most holding PhDs or M.Tech degrees, although teaching effectiveness varies.
