- RKGEC is inviting applications for PhD Admission 2024-2025 (Winter Session). The last date to apply is Nov 30, 2024 and the entrance test is scheduled for Dec 22, 2024. Click here to check detailed information.
- RKGEC is conducting physical counselling for 2 vacant MD (Paediatrics) seats for the academic session 2024-25. The application form should be submitted between November 11 – 20, 2024. The list of candidates selected for counselling will be released on November 21, 2024 and the counselling details will be sent on November 22, 2024.
About RKGEC
Raj Kumar Goel Engineering College is a private self-financed co-ed engineering college imparting quality higher technical education. It is situated in Ghaziabad, just 40km away from the national capital Delhi on NH-24. The college is spread over a sprawling campus of 16 acres.
The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow. The Wi-Fi enabled campus provides other basic amenities like continuous power backup, first-aid facilities etc.

The Collection in the library exceeds over 29715 Volumes of Books, 45 National and International Journals, 205 back volumes & 1365 CDs. Also, the library has access to e-resources of IEEE, ASME, J-Gate, ASTM, ELSEVIER, GALE CENGAGE Learning, WILEY BLACKWELL, and Access Engineering & DELNET Journals in the different fields of education.
Hostels:
RKGEC has separate hostel for boys and girls within the campus. The rooms are well ventilated with chairs, almirahs, beds, study tables, mattresses and these rooms are shared by the students.
Language labs:
The Language lab is designed to have an interactive session with the students for improving their pronunciation, communication skills and their perceptions through audio- visual aids. The facility consists of playing audiocassettes, Video Cassettes and CD’s.
Conference Halls:
The conference Hall is a striking, high specification, modern building fitted with permanent Audio, Video and Projection System and is used as a place for conferences, Faculty Development Programmes, small meeting, training session or seminar with modern facilities in a convenient location.
Center for Cloud Technologies:
RKG Group has established Centre for Cloud Technologies. The center is recognized as VMware IT Academy. The centre also provides a work space with computing and printing facility for Industry sponsored projects.

Eligibility - 75% above in 12th The application can be done online as well as offline. The admission process can be improved online. Admission is also done through JEE and UPTU ranks. Once the counseling process is done, the admission process starts.

Before 2020, admissions in AKTU were held by UPTU examination. But now it has been changed by JEE mains (NTA) examination. For opting for the CSE branch students should have at least 60 % in PCM in 12th. This university also provides reservation facilities for students.

College was nice but I want to blame the people in administration. They had worst administration. They didn't cared much about the quality teaching, they just want teachers who agreed on the minimum salary.

According to me, I didn't found anything bad because everything there was above my expectations. May it be education, faculty, hostel, food etc. I liked everything. But if asked then I will say that it will be good for the students if the management will increase the placement opportunities. Although the management was one of the best among the colleges nearby. They were always supportive but at the same time, they were strict for something that is not under discipline. In all the management was quite good. It was a good experience being a part of RKGEC and only this much, it was my destiny which leads me to this college so that I can get trained under highly qualified lecturers.
