PSIT Kanpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The percentage of placement of the students that are shown in the holding is not actual, but from the students who are allowed to appear for the placement, and maximum chances are that they will get placed. The minimum package is not known to everyone, not be noot less tham 2-3 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, HCL, JTC, etc.

The course curriculum of my college is very old in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness . There is more focus on theoretical learning than practical and also not about the modern level curriculum i.e., about robotics,ai and blockchain ,etc.

There are various aspects of the curriculum which are compelling such as practical learning there's a lot of focus emphasized on practical learning such as the workshops,graphic designing and various science labs which encourage the students to learn with more interest.There are some areas for improvement like the time is bit too much from 9 to 5 they could reduce a bit of time and give students some time for there self studies as there are a lot of lectures in the academic time table which are free so those periods could be reduced and students could be let free a bit earlier.the exams are taken on regular intervals there are 3 assignment tests in a semester 1 class test which is very crucial as it determines the internal marks of the students and then at last there's a pre university which is a type of a mock test to prepare the students for semester exams and there's also an online test(olt) conducted every Friday in labs,the difficulty level of these exams is pretty reasonable which prepares the students for there various exams and competitions.

They not only teach academic stuff but also do training lectures like verbal ability problem solving approach dsa labs and more which prepares you well for placements but every coin has two sides it increases no of lectures so you will have to attend more classes

At PSIT, students are allowed for campus jobs from the 6th sem . Many top firms visit each year, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra , HCL and Capgemini. Some product firms like ZS and Hashedin also hire from PSIT. The highest pay for CSE was around 30 lpa and the average pay stays near rupee 6 lpa . More than 90 percent of students get placed in good roles like software dev, data analyst or QA engineer. The college also runs training drives for coding , mock tests and soft skils growth. After my degree , I plan to go for Mtech at IIT Madras and then work in the tech field or research area.

Most of the students are placed in 6th or 7th semester.if yet not placed,Our college provides the placement assistence after college also.Special GATE classes and CAT classes are also provided for the students .

Student become eligible in 6th semester onwards, Companies like cognizant , HCLTECH, Pyramid,turing ,Ltiminds have visited our campus , and all of them offered 70+ placement to students. Highest package offered by a visited company is 10lpa from optimus infotech, Average package offered by company are 4.2 lakh My plans after getting degree is to pursue for mba

Their is 9-5 college the course curriculum is good but it's not good for me I like to do self study and the things that college teacher are outdated but some things are good .the curriculum somewhat prepared us for real world applications like English curriculum , aptitude and some coding training class. I think college should force student to take 9-5 classes who are weak and the student that do not want to study . The frequency of the exam are quite often

Placements of my college was quite good. Because they run placement drives in college. Highest package of my college was nearly about 66 lakh per annum which was given by google. And average package is about 6lpa.

from 7th semester we strat getting the placement opportunities from college and student who do interships get special privlege to skip classes without bieng marked absent. the companies comes in our college is infyosis , tcs,accenture , capgemini,google. highest package grabbed by student is 66 lpa from google and average package of 6 lpa
