The college provides good placement opportunities for students through internships programs, careers fairs the university facilitates valuable connections between students and employeers however u should score good marks
Open students, they can apply for an ebc scholarship, and there are scholarships for hostel students as well.
They have great knowledge about the course and guide students properly.

Dislikes

There Placements are very bad. Average package is of just 4 LPA.
Poor marking for exracurricular activities which was recently introduced under project Based Learning(PBL).
the location might be confusing some times

Ab overview on the PILLAI COLLEGE

Likes

Infrastructure is good. Great and well maintained buildings.
Surrounding is cleaned and well maintained
Placement is also good as there are multiple streams to select from.

Dislikes

Faculty isn't top notch in basis of emotional or mental connection with students. Treats students like trash sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview:

For real world applications, none. It is better if you can study at home for 3 years from online and youtube services if only they would have accepted these. There's no point in learning ICs and chips on an i3 if the current world is automating everything on higher ends.

The faculty is well experienced and is helpful for students. Also their teaching method is very good.
The infrastructure and learning facilities are excellent.
Also the many events are arranged by our college to encourage students for their professional and personal development

Placement Experience:

Yes, placement is offered by our college. Many companies like TCS , Wipro, Infosis,Tech Mahindra , ONGC, Amazon, Flipkart,etc often vists our college and many offers are made by them. The highest package offered by them is 32 lakhs. Average package is around 4-10 lakhs. Almost 95% percentage students get placement. I am planning for my higher studies after getting my degree.

Pillai College of Engineering, Panvel - A honest review

Likes

The campus is big and green. The classrooms are well designed.
The student body is good as compared to many other colleges.
The faculty knows and loves the subject they are teaching. They teach everything in as much depth as possible.

Dislikes

Some floors don't have working water points and some urinary stalls are missing partition.
Canteen food is not upto the par and more staff should be hired.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for on-campus placements from the 6th semester. Companies such as TCS, infosys have come for placements. Almost every eligible student are placed every year. The highest package is around 32L. My plan is to get a placement after degree.

Likes

I like the facilities that the college provides.
The faculty of the college is also good.
Teaching staff library and study material provided is good.

Dislikes

The limited availability of advanced laboratory equipments sometimes restricts hands-on learning opportunities.
The maintenance system is good but it can be much improved
Offering more internship opportunity for should would be more beneficial

My plans after getting the degree is to pursue higher education (masters) and plus point this college also has masters program for students. The percentage required to get placement is cgpa of 6.75 . Companies like Gemini , L&T etc you can search or visit campus for more detailed information also the college provides campus tour with information to students before admission.

Likes

Overall college campus and nature is too good
Teachers is talakative and more responsive.
College cafeteria is too good and all the surrounding is too positive .

Dislikes

College is knows for placement but everyone not getting it .

I like to machines cars engines . I like to explore them in details learn all the things about it that's the reason I choose this course. Teaching method is too good but the some teachers is not that responsive than the others .

My college has decent placements from 6 semister student become eligible for campus placement Recently our college is in priority college for TCS Over 100+ offers has been made this year Last year ECS student got 32 lakh package in flipkart and average package is 4 lakh 50% pf the student are getting placed My plans are to pursue for higher studies in abroad

The P in Pillai college stands for Perfection

The campus and facult are too good also the events here are great
Social opportunities and great participations opportunities
Committees to be a part off and self development opportunities

Dislikes

The working or studying hours are too long
Improper schedules of exams and short semesters
Also the traveling distance is more for people living in mumbai

Students can apply for placements from 7th semester Any company that comes hires few students none go back with a zero Higher package till date is 32 LPA I plan to complete the degree and then go for Higher studies

Faculty is all from great background well educated
The infrastructure is good and labs are good
Every thing is maintained in college …..

Dislikes

Washroom can be better they are cleaned but more should be done
Water purification is really bad I got bad thoate
Lifts should have been little big so we didn’t had to waite

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum needs a bit of improvement the IA exam WERE DIFFICULT BECAUSE College started late and the load was to much each day we had 2 exams we were not able to prepare the chapters were less but two exams in a day gets over your head

our campus is beautiful full of greenery and positivity
the faculty helps with almost everything and treat everyone in a same condition
social interaction we have various events in our cllg

Dislikes

there is severe difference in clases of mba and commerce and engineering
mostly mba and commerce students enjoy the facility of good classrooms, ac
the fees structure if a bit expensive they need to cut down on the expense

our campus placement is strong with top it companies including tcs capgemini delta x infosys wipro etc the placement cell provides excellent support with regular interview prep apptitude prep etc also help in providing internships for students as we have to continue one semester with internship
